Biamonti est rapide et très complet, mais les techniques de jambes de Pinna pour l’époque c’était du haut level, inspiré du taekwondo, il était vraiment très beau à voir ! Aujourd’hui mon karatéka préféré est sans conteste Rafael Aghayev.

Biamonti was my idol. Had the privilege to compete along side all of them at Munich 2000 and Madrid 2002 World Championships as well as a few euros ;)

Probably because they weren't too strict with the amount of power opponents would use. Also less stopping after every hit like modern competition.

This takes me back a few years maybe 50 years I remember when Tokey Hill and Billy Blanks made the transition to open tournaments it was fun to see such Pure Clean technique

In the same era Emmanuel Pinda, Eugene Codrington, Gilbert Gruss, Thierry Masci, Ludwig Kotzebue, Otti Roethoff, John Reeberg, Dominique Valera, Mario Garofoli, Alain Setrouk, would all have ridiculed the average Karate level of Billy Blanks and Tokey Hill.

Les 3 sont bon à leurs manières, une petite préférence pour christophe car plus spectaculaire du fait qu'il sort du taekwondo, alexandre est très bon aussi et très pédagogue lors des stages, après junior Lefèvre, je ne l'ai jamais rencontré mais très rapide et technique.

Nice list man you should do top fighters of the early 2000 era it was the best era in karate for sure so many talents prime Rafael Agheyev, Prime Luigi Busa, Alexander Gurenov, Seydina Balde, Ko Matsuhisa, and that’s just a few off the top of my head.

The best Karate kumite era is the mid 80s to 1990s era (where the greatest Karateka in Kumite and Kata lived) not the 2000s. Today has more in common with hopping and fist fencing (maete, gyaku) than Karate. Alain Le Hetet would walk through modern karateka competitors (tiny Rafael included) if a bit of contact was allowed like back in the days.

@@THEREALZENFORCE Emmanuel is so much slower than even an average top fighter today I thought I was going to watch someone amazing when you linked that video. He would'nt be able to win even one world championship in the 2000's Rafael Agheyev could 8-0 him in his prime the 2000's is the best era.

pinna is the best of all the time when teakwondo meet karaté awesome and dangerouse ;i am 3 ex champion of teakwondo and i practised both of them pinna is so special his style so amazing by the way i have a child who love pinna he play like him he practice both of teakwondo and karaté and his coutch tell me that is instopobale with his leg i wish he can have the same way as my favorite champion pinna
