Hello EIE. Wow, what a selection. The French toast looked delicious it had my mouth watering. The Eggs Benedict 🥚 was super. For me, that has to be the winner. The look of the dish was fantastic and the unique tea timer. I don't like peppers, so I couldn't eat that one. Because of you, I now eat combo bites. Thanks for the trio😊

Alot of swish cafes/restaurants you've got up there! The Eggs Benedict looked good with added bacon. Perfect for those who find a full English too much for Breakfast. The middle one I've seen cooked in Azerbaijan on KZfaq where the eggs are cracked into the tomato and onion sauce, rather than poached and added on top. The 3rd one is too much sugar at Breakfast for me. The orange fruit is called Physallis, you can buy a punnet in most supermarkets, goes nicely with pork pie or quiche. Overall I'd go for the Eggs Benedict, but £12 is pricey. Loving all the mini glass bottles of milk, so cute, and reusable. 😊

👋Hi there, I'm a new subscriber here. This is wonderful viewing & you're a breath of fresh air to watch! This looked so delish my friend, especially that new/different & modern style of "French Toast", albeit, nothing can really beat the original, but still, that looked really good & really colourful. I love how you explain everything so well & then go in for the bite. It gives the viewer a much better insight into the specific dish. It's also appreciated, that your reviews are completely transparent & refreshingly honest, which is the real bonus. Enjoyable viewing here & Thank you for creating & sharing. Peace✌

Before I have even watched ....Eggs Benedict. No contest and I didn't even know the other options. 😂 I've actually only had it once but it was divine. ❤ the hollandaise looked too thin though.... it should properly coat and stick to the food.... that hollandaise looked much thinner than it should be I think. 😔 Try one somewhere else and you'll see what I mean. 😉 Hubs would argue eggy fried bread should be savoury, not sweet. 😉 He is from North Lincolnshire.... so not too far down the road from you. The fruit on the last one is called a kumquat. 🥰

Dishes 1 & 2 looked very good. I’m not really into sweet things for breakfast so dish 3 is probably not for me. The fruit in dish 3 is physalis, by the way - I do like them a lot. One other non-traditional breakfast (at least in the UK) I do like, which is popular in Spain, is crushed tomato on toasted bread, either a piece of baguette or my favourite, olive bread or sourdough👍😋

@@everydayimeating3407 I prepare it in a stick blender at home, a medium-large or a few small plum tomatoes roughly chopped, plus perhaps a chunk of courgette (I like that a lot), some olive oil & if you like a little heat, a few drops of Tabasco sauce will do the trick 🌶. Most cafés in Spain offer this for breakfast, so as I’m not currently there I do it myself, plus a mug of freshly-brewed coffee, it’s very easy & tasty 😋. I often eat breakfast out too of course, today it was a tuna toastie & some decaff latte in one of my favourite local cafés, I think about £7.50, I usually add about 10% tip, so well under £9 in all, and as it was a warm sunny morning I ate at one of their outdoor tables 😎😀.

This will sound odd... but the first one looked the best. However, I'm allergic to mustard (my mom is deathly, and I do mean deathly allergic to mustard) so eating it would likely end up with me at the clinic. The second looked interesting, the third looked safe. I dunno. Other than ruling out the first, because I'm not fond of near death experiences, the other two both had their points. I'd probably try the Shakshouka if it was just me but get the French Toast if it was me and mom. Unless I missed mustard sneaking into the french toast. A great job of finding some interesting options for breakfast!

You Sir have had the privilege of eating a Cape gooseberries which is distantly related to true gooseberries, the green ones but it isn't a real gooseberry. It is also botanically related to Mexican tomatillos; but it isn't one. Ultimately, all these fruits are in the tomato family; but none of them are a true tomato. Got that? Just as the fact that we all know tomatoes are in the nightshade family; but obviously not nightshade and perfectly safe to eat. It makes a great sauce and pairs well with sweet fresh cheese.
@katrinlausch3078
