I just bought the AWE track exhaust. I hope I feel the same way.

@@gregjackson2655 Still love the exhaust! My only slight complaint is that theres only one bar for the exhaust hanger to hold onto instead of two. So it makes the fitment a little off. It tends to sit really close to my bumper but the sound is still great. Crazy pops come out when you downshift!

@@Julez4112 how loud was your sti stock? Like if you had to guess how much louder did the AWE make it

@@GKkingg not loud at all with stock exhaust. Barely could hear the rumble at all. The track exhaust made the car sound like how it should of came from the factory. Plus you get the pops when you downshift, and sometimes you can hear it on the up shift. It is definitely louder with the cold start and driving around town. I would say the sounds goes from a 2 to an 8 with the track exhaust. You can always get the touring version that has a muffler. Track is just a pipe all the way to the cats.

I have mbrp on my 21 wrx. It was the only exhaust I found that didn't make the car sound like a honda.

@immiinent cruising speeds its barely noticeable. Same with idle. It gets loud when you are getting on it and cold starts.

I love that exhaust and constantly I'm asked what exhaust I have. Black tips are the way to go.

They're overpriced... just a muffler delete with a unresonated midpipe

@@WedgewoodGarage AWE also researches and engineers the drone to be canceled out on the highway. They are definitely not over priced for what you get. If you just want a loud exhaust and you don't care about the drone go with a cheaper brand. If you want a deep rich sound without drone, you have to pay to play.

You can get a cover for the exhaust exits if you go with a single tip

Nothing you will notice, but you will enjoy the sound when you are accelerating even at normal speeds.

Track is really loud, it's not muffled at all really.

I have the AWE Track on my 21’ WRX, stock j-pipe. I personally like my cars loud. Cold start is decently loud but when the car gets warmer it’s get quiet. Quiet until you get on it then you really hear the car. That’s why I chose this option plus I don’t plan on installing a aftermarket j-pipe right away so this will keep me content for awhile. Hope this helps.

@@zumiez7ful This did help a ton, I am honestly just wanting an exhaust that is noticeably loud on cold starts and when I get on it. (dont want it to overpower the sound of the intake/ bpv at stage one). All without being overly obnoxious.

@@Koyzu117 The awe touring on the ej is as loud as the track on the fa engine. I have the touring on my sti and sounds amazing

Go with Borla. If you have doubts, find someone local with it and listen to it yourself. A Catback is best appreciated in person because sound is very subjective. @@anthonyc.6170 thanks man! I love the sound clips I’ve heard but can’t find a wrx with one. I figured If it’s not loud enough get a jpipe when my warranty is up?just don’t want to be disappointed with all that money spent
