I think it’s important to explain the san Marco zip codes, neighborhoods within them and how the schools differ. There are areas of San Marcos that are extremely opposite of each other.

Good luck with the 78, it was not designed for that many people/cars, referring to the big picture... I 5 to the 15 on 78. That needs to be a minimum of 6 lanes on each side. I know I've lived in the area for decades. Funny watching them widen each bridge going over 78 in SM three times now. Do your home work, cars cars cars and heavy traffic. Not trying to be negative it's just many places in CA are just amazing to live in but the roads and the parking and the structures were not at all designed for THAT MANY cars and people. Peace

one of the biggest issues in San Marcos is the Methadone Clinic. There's one off of Rancho Santa Fe Road & Mission Road. Right by the 7/11. Its rampant with tweakers there.

Didn't get to mention the many neighborhoods north of the 78 in this video. But you've got some great areas like Twin Oaks, Paloma, Richland, etc. Feel free to reach out if you need any help with these neighborhoods.
