The prideful guy I was with let me leave, I never looked back even though he tried to reach out twice after 6 months "poorly" might I add but I gave him very short answers and told him to take care. His weak actions after our breakup solidified that he is not my husband and motivated me to keep pushing, my friends knew how much I loved him so they were shocked at how heartless and unbothered I seemed even though in my bed I would cry myself to sleep for three months and we broke up in the pandemic which made it even harder but one thing I know is my worth! Never looked back and living my best single life and working on me...best feeling ever!!!

Yes! I left my husband of 29 years. He is that man...lol. He prides himself on his stubbornness. There is no doubt in my mind that he wants me back. The last 2mins of this video gave me the closure I needed for understanding what happened with my last relationship. He completely pushed me away, switched up and treated me the opposite of how he did before and I ended up making the decision to communicate that I was removing myself. Really left me with no choice, but it was what he wanted. He just didnt want to be the one to do it.

You will be upset and frustrated all the time being with a broken man who’s prideful(ego) means more to him than doing what he needs to do to make his wrongs right to save his relationship. Is why I choose to be single and because too many men are too prideful, self centered, mentally unhealthy and emotionally immature. If someone is gonna make my life miserable it’ll be me not someone else. Never be with a man who’s too prideful to help make your relationship work. Been there done that, it’s a waste of your precious short time here on earth PERIOD.

What about when a man ignores you for hours even a day or 2, over a miscommunication or misunderstanding or doesn’t even want to understand you, whenever I first met him he was the 1# communicator and listened and was so understanding. I left him because I found out about another woman and when I asked him about it, he lied up and down. Not too long after that, I found out about yet another woman! Again, he lied and lied and lied! I had enough and blocked him. Four days later, I saw him out with yet another woman! It's been 5 months since I blocked him and I haven't seen or heard from him since day one. He did not care about me! He had 3 others! So when I left it was no big deal. The whole time we dated he really made me feel like we had something special. I cried myself to sleep for a long time. I still miss him sometimes but then I just tell myself no, you miss his representative

Learn to become emotionally intelligent. It doesn't come easy, but consider the outcome. If someone carries on in such a way, their whole life has passed by and all this energy spent on pouring ourselves out into the wrong vessel. In the end it's a choice. Being emotionally intelligent takes strength, but the payoff is your dignity and self respect, also the love you save may be your own.

As a woman it would be interesting to learn to be emotionally intelligent, along with more examples of how it looks, and it would also be helpful to know how an emotionally intelligent man acts so that we may know what qualities to look out for also.
