11/22/63 made it onto my list of favorite books of all time. It made me laugh, smile, think, and cry.

Finally!! I haven't seen many people rank Needful Things very high. It is indeed one of my faves! :)

11/22/63 is severely underrated imo. More people should talk about it. It's such a good book.

awesome list andrew! i love seeing peoples favorite king books! 11/22/63 and It are my top 2 fav from king. i have a really difficult time picking a third tbh. Pet Sematary, green mile, or maybe the dark tower as a whole (probably wolves of the calla if i had to pick one single book from the series) all are so tough to pick as my bronze medal, the man has written so many gems! great video, cheers!

1: It, for obvious reasons. The horror element, and everything else was absolutely amazing 2: Sleeping Beauties, Haven’t even finished it yet and I’m completely hooked. It’s absolutely terrifying, yet so captivating at the same time 3. Fairy Tale, just liked the story and plot

Dude Needful Things is honestly probably my favorite book of all time. I’m 13 and ADORE Stephen king books, I’ve read needful things countless times, it’s so freaking good!!

You totally surprised me with Needful Things and not The Stand. Most people put the stand in the top 3 (I don't). 11/22/63 is by far my favorite. I couldn't believe how good it was when I read it. Needful Things is also another one of my favorites, and yes, that villain was great. It, though, that book was hard to get through, some serious pacing issues for me.

My favorite Stephen King books in order: IT Under the dome Fairytale I love all of his books. He is amazing!

So far, of all his books I’ve read, I think the stand is his best & my personal favorite one.

After further reading of Stephen King books I believe The Stand deserves a place on that list I also just bought a first edition of needful things There’s a merry Christmas note on the paper from somebody’s mom and dad

I mean my top 3 are… Christine, which is in 3rd. In 2nd place is also 11/22/63. And my personal favorite, IT. (But that is just my opinion)

It's hard for me to pick a favorite King book. I enjoyed almost every single book of his I read. I like the books, a lot of people don't seem to like. Like Bag of Bones, Duma Key, and Cell. I guess the only book of his I wasn't a huge fan of was maybe Tommyknockers. Even then, it wasn't horrible; it just wasn't really my thing. And of course, I love the clasic king Novels. The Shining, The Stand, IT, Salem's Lot, Carrie, all of them! It is literally impossible for me to pick 3 and say these are my favorites. I mean, I absolutely loved The Regulators, but I just can't pick which ones I love most. Because I love a lot of them equally.

I'll be honest, King is not one of my favorite authors. I did enjoy his books The Shining and Carrie, IT was a trial for me to read. I think it took me 6 months to read lol. 11/22/63 sounds interesting though and wouldn't mind giving it a try.

I wasn't expecting Needful Things. Mine are IT and The Stand are my favorites, followed by Pet Semetary and Christine, although they're way behind IT and The Stand. That said, i do own Needful Things--that same hardback copy, in fact--but I just havent gotten around to reading it yet since i have over 25, maybe 30 SK books, almost half of which i haven't read, mainly because i love IT and and The Stand so much that I find myself re-reading them because they're that good (I'm currently reading The Stand for my 3rd time, and Ive read IT at least 4 times). However, after your endorsement I might have to read Needful Things next.

IT is the only novel I've read twice. I love it that much. My favorite character is Mike Hanlon. The controversial chapter I do skip, but other than that, it's wonderful.

Needful Things ( Here in Germany its called „in einer kleinen Stadt“ )Dolores and Duma Key (which is called „Wahn“ here) are my absolute Favorites of Stephen King. I always wonder why not so many talk about Needful Things or Duma Key…. Great Books :)

Oh man top 3 is damn hard. Number 3 would be Joyland (A fantastic story of a lost individual coming to terms with himself and his life), number 2 is It (This story goes deep and is so much more than it seems. You have the coming of age part, the horror part, the change time brings, nostalgia and so much more) and number 1 is Pet Sematary (There is no King book coming close to the atmosphere, terror and sheer scope of death in all his facets than Pet Sematary).

I think my list is IT, Wizard and Glass, and Misery. But if you ask me tomorrow, the whole thing will change😂 I have so many King favorites

It’s about time someone put needful things in their top favorite Stephen king lists! I agree it is an often overlooked novel and I think personally it is a great story. Not in my top three, but definitely in my top 10!

Dark half- pet sematary-carrie underrated books of stephen king

Man, I could not finish Needful Things! I don't know why! I got about 600 pages in, and just had to stop reading it. It's the only Stephen King book I've done that with. I also kind of struggled with The Institute. I'm so glad that you liked it, tho! I think if I had to choose, my favorite Stephen King books are a tie between The Shining and Pet Sematary :)

The Long Walk, It(always in the top 3), Thinner. People sleep on the the picks, but thinner wasn’t just horror, it was development. You see a wealthy man reduced to nothing, and become desperate enough to remove his curse that he has his friend assault and terrorize the Gypsies. Then, when he plans on leaving his wife the curse, it turns out it was for naught, as his daughter ended up receiving it too. So he had to go take the curse back to save the only thing he had left. The Long Walk was also such a great book. You see the degradation of the mind of a teenager, as he slowly walks to his death with the people around him. You feel the pain and the struggle he is in. You know that if he stops walking, he is dead, but he keeps going. His mind collapses, he makes and loses friends, and in the end, after he out walked everyone, he had gone insane, and started running towards death. An alternate for thinner could be the drawing of three(TDT). Always thought this was the best Dark tower book.

The Stand, It, Needful Things Glad to see another Needful Things fan. There's a Mary Shelley quote at the beginning of Scott Smith's A Simple Plan that goes, “No man chooses evil because it is evil; he only mistakes it for happiness, the good he seeks.” Needful Things is, I think, a better illustration of this than A Simple Plan.

I just finished salems lot in a week. I never read a Stephen King book before. I just started Cujo and even found a copy of Rage on eBay. I’m hooked.

Mine is Misery, Pet Sematary, and Firestarter. But I have soooo many more that are close 😊 I need to read the first and last ones on this video

Needful Things is my favorite too. I never hear anyone else say that. I have to go with The Shining as a close second. It was so terrifying❤

I got 11/22/63 the day it dropped back in 2011. I started it. Life happened. And I'm finally finishing it as we speak! I love it so much.

11 22 63, the main character visits dairy and actually sees beepe. Ritchie and Beverly marsh dancing together. He also hears the clown in his subconscious, whispering some sort of nonsense.

i am halfway thru Under The Dome right now, reading the audiobook (Raul Esparza actually narrates!!) - have you read? what do you think? also if you like the show dexter or six feet under, thought id lyk that Michael C Hall narrates Pet Sematary!! on audible and on libby (the library app) ! he does it FANTASTICALLY

even the series for 11/22/63 was good, because the story is just so good. it made me laugh when the Rick And Morty “Needful Things” episode came out and people had no idea what it was based on, i felt so proud in that moment to be a king reader lmao

The Shining was my favourite but 11/22/63 has so much that its definitely top three in King books. Been on a King bing recently so read The Outsider and Carrie, in the middle of Salems Lot and also got Cujo and Firestarter to read. Anyone have any other recommendations?

11/22/63 was great to read! I remember parts where I was totally stunned with shock. I've been seeing a lot of people recommend "The Stand" here. I may read that one next.
