I agree with top picks, but as for honorable mentions I would include obj. 257 (magic armour, russian rng, apcr standard ammo), is3-II (double gun, decent armour, russian rng), amx m4 51 (they will nerf big gun, but smaller one is fine) and 50tp (very well rounded, great alpha)

The ST-I game was saved by the OBJ704 and Leo1, if they didn't go to the heavy line the 279e and such would have killed you.

It's a reward/premium tank but the AE Phase I is my favorite Tier 9 HT. The turret is great, the hull is decent, the gun is good, mobility is good... There's not much to dislike about it. Side-scrapping works but it seems to be a bit weak, maybe I just can't angle right which is also very possible.

I like coming here to see a good player like skill having good games and fun because it doesn't happen to me anymore in this game. This game is simply done, the only players left are either sweating so hard or are downright in need of care - there is no in-between (IMO). Great if you enjoy it :)

The 705 is one of my favourite tanks, and as much as there's already 50 T8 Russian premium HTs, I wish there was a T8 (or T9) premium version to farm credits.

When ever i have a bad session i fondly remember the time i played for 2500 dpg with m3y and lost 47 games in a row. One after the mf another 47 times. To put it another way i lost every game over 4h period. I have experienced the other end of the spectrum too, when it feels like you cant loose a single game. I dont usualy care too much about stats but i just noticed the loosing streak because of the 3 wins daily mission that i had.

Yes that 279e was just bad news but, in that ST-I game your Arta and Tank Destroyers were the stars of that match. They annihilated that 279 e and those 2 TDs that snuck in behind you.

E75 was my first favorite tank in the game and still holds up today but before gold spam days it was so much better. Wish premium rounds would go back to gold only.

Hell no! I did'nt played at the time but if you want that, then its realy PAY TO WIN! Maybe you would see less Gold-Spam, but its not fair at all! Yes todays meta is not great but everybody is given the option to use Premium Ammo for free🤷‍♂️

There are battles where you just can't win, no matter what. Thats why I always quit the game after the 3th defeat in row. Or if I'm lucky and I am winning I try to play as much as possible. Yesterday - 13 battles played 10 wins 3 defeats. Today - 5 battles played 1 win and 4 defeats (defeat, win, 3 defeats in row -> quit). But yes, E-75 is always a good choice. I'm grinding now M103 and the czech tier 9 heavy. And it is a hard grind.

I've had good success with Mauschen, better w/r than Maus, oddly. But yes, very slow tank - best hope the battle isn't over before it can get there.

Hey SKILL you said in second game it would be much worse if you were in a tier 8 and had to face the 279e... So if that was was the case which tier 8 tank would you wish you had IF you had to face the 279e in battle ?? or which tier 8 tank would stand best odds against a 279e ?? Probably none lol. Depends on the Situation. Out of the Distance you would wish for something with a lot of Heatpenetration like Obj 416. It you can flank, its pretty much easy peasy. If you have to stand it off frontally, maybe a Tank that combines good Armor and Premiumpenetration (Iron Arnie has 300 on the HEAT right?). But all in all, you do not stand a chance

Eso no importa. Si tomas decisiones basado en esas tonterias, significa que debes aprender a jugar mejor para que el costo de la municion nunca sea un factor.

@@SpotDeezNutz No es que sea vinculante, pero según estan poniendo el juego y la economia del mismo, creo que es un factor a tener en cuenta, entre otros, por supuesto. De todas formas, Skill es de los pocos realizadores de contenido que no lleva FULL GOLD, fijate en todas las grandes replays que se publican en youtube y luego me dices que disparan.

Ey skill, I usually have some difficulties grinding a tier X tank and never got able to grind to any tier IX or X I wonder, with line its good for grinding (more cheaper and easier to research or something)?^ Basically a line that is beginner friendly... I tried VZ55 line, started loosing a lot of credits and I can't play well on that (Im kinda bad Ik), then tried the T30 line, but T28 prot kinda sucks (for me at least)

But not for beginners really. Speed will make them go in front of other heavies with not-as-great-armor (it's still good, but not that great, especially if you're not used to all the tricks), double penetration possibility may make them overdo this and die stupidly when trying in wrong moment.

I wouldn't call t10 and conq beginner friendly tanks - they are very good in skilled hands but both have no hull armour and you have to know places on maps where you can go hulldown

I can't agree or disagree with you MrSkill as i only know the tanks as opponents now. But talking on all this sidescrap tanks i wonder you didn't even mention the VK45.02B (on way to PzKpfwVII) too. Some other CC say "use VK for bouncing mission".

Unless you're a crackhead wehraboo, that's a terrible line to grind for a new player... E75 is the only one that's vaguely decent and easy to play, but getting to it will be a nightmare if you're starting out.

Tiger I can be a freaking monster but you need to invest a ton into crew skills, equipment and consumables to pump up the DPM and then learn how to manage HP trading, because the armor is cheese. It's much easier to just stay hull-down in a T29 or blast people for 1/3 of their HP in an IS.

Bad days are coming thick & fast recently. I started with 10 losses on the bounce the other night despite scoring well & couldn't get better than 30% on the night. When that happens I turn to the bottle & Netflix.

I dunno if they ever changed it, but I recall that if the ST-1 is the first soviet heavy line you climb then you'll have one of the worst stock grinds because the first gun is shitawful.

I think there's a lot of tanks at all tiers that beginners can do well in and that's the great thing about KZfaq so they can see what they are getting into lol. If you are a beginner though, you should definitely stay away from specialized tanks that need to be played in a specific type of way. Stick to tanks are are very flexible and can do everything decently.

Phase I is also great for beginerrs, it's not a tech tree tank but any player will do well with Phase I. Unlike E75 turret armour is great against gold shells and gun is so much more reliable

That ST-I battle tho. MM being an ass, giving enemy both 279e and Chief. A lot of people would've given up, but I guess those 2 players got over confident. Regardless, that kind of MM is very tilting. MM still sucks to this day, those tanks shouldn't be able to play without their counterparts on the enemy team. If there's only one of those queueing up, then sure, fine, put it in there. But if there's more than two, then make sure each of the team have them.

I dont agree with E75 and ST1 for me they are horrible but IS4 is amazing with his reload, speed and armor. If someone search for premium heavy money maker tank i propose obj 703 II

I was surprised with Skill's 3rd choice. I would've chosen 50tp since it has such a great gun and the armor is still decent, plus you get good gun depression so hulldown is easy

Nr1 for me is conqueror. Best heavy tank gun in the game, high health, high view range, great ammo and great armor

I'd argue that the M103/T110E5 have the only HT gun better than the Conq/SConq.

@@RobboMcjobbo turret dispersion is lower on E5 but hull dispersion, final accuracy and gun depression are all better on conq/s.conq (why I believe it's a better gun overall)

Tier 7 and 9 are sweet spot tiers. Tier gets their 7 sometimes and can compete with tier 10

I dont believe in beginner friendly tanks. If a new person likes a tank for how it looks and plays then they should get the tank even if its hard to play. Then they will learn how to play with THAT tank over time. Yes people will cry about having them as teammates but this is how it is.

I wouldnt call the E75 anywhere near beginner friendly. If you dont know how ti side scrape, hide your cupola, and properly trade shots AND angle your armor, being in an E75 is just asking to quit the game in rage. Obj 705 is good for beginners.

E75 IS beginner friendly - lot of armor (at least vs regular ammo), great alpha, nice pen, decent mobility. Very complete package. And 705 is a good tank but it's a one trick pony with bad gun.

@Przemek Lewandowski the stock 122 is NOT a bad gun. The upgraded gun on it is bad, yes. But if I had to choose between the E75 or the Obj 705 as a beginner, I would be an utter fool to pick the E75. At least the 705 has armor that can work against gold. The E75 does not. It is a relic of a bygone era of the game and it is NOT beginner friendly. Period.

I believe there are scenarios where 705 can shine. But e75 is a lot more versatile: you can push, you can snipe (sort of) from the back, you can sidescrape, you can play hulldown. In 705 all you can do is find an obstacle, hide behind it and pray to rngeesus so you can hit something. Great gaming experience:) All this tank has is great turret and side armor. With both players being the same level e75 will win easily. But if you prefer 705 i'm fine with it

the only problem is that you are not playing as a beginner the beginners play with the heavies frontally where the heavies go. don't sneak, a beginner doesn't know how to use a map and the advantage of that map as you showed, places on the map where it's better to cover important lines if you understand me what I wanted to say

Playing is one thing, improving is not guaranteed. And to get higher tier, even inexperienced players can get there without improving.

If you beeline a single tech path, you can get to t9 while still having only a thousand games or less under your belt, without premium (like I did). That's still pretty noob.

I'm at tier 8 after ~650 games. Caernarvon. Clan and recruiter/trainee boosters. Agree that my skill lags behind tier of tank. But playing 8s and a line of tanks with no hull armor is paying off. I went back to tier iv Matilda last night to grab a quick guaranteed win for a mission before shutting down and slaughtered everyone just playing hull down and not peeking too much over crest of ridge on mines. Granted Matilda is op.

I dont have this vehicle in WoT but long ago I played in WoTBlitz and I was a god so i imagine it can be good here in WoT PC too.

World of tanks is so bad game for new players, i am f2p person , i know everything about the game i am doing everything perfect i am professional ,what i am getting from game after all that experience train and knowledge ,50 maybe more lose games :D just yesterday with leopard 1 i hit 2 shot out of 10 not even was far 450 meter xd
