The Mantle/Griffey Jr. duel auto card, is one of the very few that I understand. Some of these prices are crazy, but to each their own. Besides the price though, several of these ''10's'' don't look, like 10's.

@@ACD1994Outsold every card on this list, except for the Desert Shield Griffey. My mind is still blown on the 1989 UD Griffey, too. I have several rare items of both Griffey and Jordan that should easily outsell every item on this list, which includes a few rookies. Truth is, they simply don't even come close to these prices. In fact, they would do good to fetch three-figures. It doesn't make sense, but they simply don't stand a chance against the junk-wax-era cards right now.

@@crazycryptids I blame PSA and their set registry, especially on the Sidney Green. PSA has done a fantastic job with brainwashing everyone with their artificial scarcity scale.

Collectors basically have to be totally obsessed completionist to pay premiums for these "Horrible" cards...The 1993 finest Refractors are notoriously known as the most "unstable" and poorly aging cards ever produced..Yes The Refractor idea had just made its debut , and the process was underdeveloped, Now most of them are turning intensely "GREEN" as they age,,and many of us in the hobby refer to these cards as "incredible HULK cards" I would NEVER ever buy one if money matters to you as a Collector ,,as they will continue to deteriorate and age poorly..
