The top 4 change depending on the day. Honestly. A lot of people are probably wondering why I don’t have more acclaimed characters when it comes to writing. For example, more characters within classical literature. I thought about this a lot, and I was able to locate my personal system when it comes to “how much do I like a character”. This is what I valued the most. Relatability, enjoyment, personal impact on my life in some way, psychology, philosophy, memories of the character, and this one is interesting but very difficult to articulate. I also highly value when characters overcome very peculiar, difficult (for that individual), and enlightening challenges. This doesn’t mean something like Naruto becoming Hokage, it’s more like Edward saving his little brother, and all the traits, systems, and values that come along with such a task. It’s so individualized and impossible to assimilate if you’re not that person. I’m not sure if this makes sense, but this was my thought process.

Love seeing some dazai appreciation, he was my fav character of all time for a long time. Suffers from the same thing as Yuuichi where people think he’s one dimensional, which is very wrong for both.

@@JurgenPaplekaj trash take judai is the most well written is yugioh series he gods through one of the best character devolpement in anime as a whole for me he has much Depth and Complexity to his character and a unique deck unlike the others with just dragons with 2500 attack dont get me started on hell kasiers character even manjoume had some good developement I'm sure u skipped season 3 and 4 for stupid dub subtile reasons .
