100+ hours later, my toplist video is finally completed! It's long, I know, but there is so many good songs in the X series so I made the list top 35 =)
I might recreate this list in the future.
This is my opinion and my taste can change over time

Impossible to choose an order to every track. Music is subjetive so we can just be agree knowing that Megaman X has one of the best soundtracks in videogame history.

It seems like all the Mega man X series games on the SNES had great tunes. Two memorable ones in X3 are Blizzard Buffalo and Gravity Beetle 🎵🎵🎵

@Saulo Carantino Where's the "metal" here? When did I mention it? If you know better yourself, why are you even confusing the two genres?

@Saulo Carantino They have the reputation of rock music because they're more on diverse, synthesized and sound lighter compared to metal. Unless you want to go full guitar on it like the metal covers. But that's not what the OSTs are about. Sure there are specific metal songs like Magma Dragoon, Flame Stag, Blaze Heatnix, (Because it's a fire stage) but that's doesn't make most of it which is why it's not accurate to generalize MMX OST as metal but more on diverse which rock music is.

@Saulo Carantino The only game that's close to Metal is X3 but that's they're not as loud and banging like metal which is why I consider it hard rock which is a rock music closest to metal. And FYI, i've been making music for years so what makes you more qualified?

Lol I had fun guessing which track each song would be before they started. I can tell you REALLY love X4's soundtrack 🤣🤣🤣 I knew Storm Owl would be in the top 10 but I didn't expect it to be #1 lol. Also surprised you didn't include greats like Jakob Elevator, Gravity Beetle, Counter Hunter stage 1 or X1's sigma stage 2 lol. Entertaining video!

I've used Infinity Mijinion (X6) as my "entrance music" to present at sales meetings. It's always a hit! Glaring omission for Final Weapon (X4) (not spaceport, but that one that plays before General and the Boss Rush)...it's so sinister and even tragic.

The megaman brand in itself is already a symbol and name of great quality ❤ But the X saga certainly never leaves anyone completely upset. ❤ My favorite OST was and always will be the music from Sigma's first stage in Megaman X1 ❤ There may be some music that you don't like in this video but I assure you that when you play any of these titles, you will not lower the volume ❤ All you need is a pinch of adrenaline or memories of those beautiful moments. ❤

Kinda bummed that there was no mentioning of Metal Shark Prayer stage. Ye, stage itself is a gigantic chore, but OST arguably is the most fitting for its area in the series.

Can you make a 35 worst megaman x series ost? (In my opinion, the worst ost is the Ground Scharavich stage, in Megaman X6, I've listened the x4, x5 and x6 osts)

Ground Scaravich is a mixed bag. The instruments sound amazing but some of the melodies are too plain or repetitive. I still love that theme though, I think it fits in a way, especially the mysterious jingling noises in the background like in the beginning, as well as the piano.
