Viewer Alert: Laduree and Les Deux Magots are overpriced and overhyped tourist traps- avoid them and go somewhere more local and authentic. L’As du Fallafell is good, but many good options in Le Marais and probably a better one just around the corner. Otherwise, this is a good overview of the tourist sites.

It is true, this wonderful young and charming couple makes some mistakes of youth in terms of gastronomic choice. For good restaurant addresses they have to watch the videos of "Les Frenchies". A Franco-American couple who really aim right.

@@alainbrochet5610, Yes, Les Frenchies have some decent recommendations usually since they actually live in Paris unlike almost every other person producing a vlog on Paris, but they don’t really seem to understand or at least don’t describe the food at a gastronomic level in my opinion. Regarding this video, I certainly wouldn’t recommend the places I mentioned (especially to wait in a queue), but compared to some of the places that other vloggers seem to constantly go to, this one is like a minor offence.

@@msaparab6511, Yes, I would never recommend Pink Mamma/Big Mamma if you care about more than atmosphere and ‘cute’ photos. I’ve said it here and elsewhere it is a tourist trap with low-quality food and drink- no Parisian or Italian with even average taste in food would eat there.

For bistros, here are a few good options: 1. Le Bon Georges- my favourite; pricier, but excellent food and an outstanding wine list 2. Bistro Paul Bert- famous now and a bit touristy, but still good; go for the offal dishes if you are ok with them and they’re available 3. Café des Ministères- popular spot with the political crowd 4. Les Arlots- similar to Le Bon Georges, more of an upscale take on classic bistro fare 5. Bistro Flaubert- chef left to open a new restaurant, but when I spoke with him in Feb, he assured me that his predecessor is good so probably still worth a look 6. Chez Janou- touristy, but good food and very reasonable prices I’d recommend you make a reservation 2-4 weeks in advance (except Chez Janou, which doesn’t take reservations as far as I know), especially if you want to go on a Friday-Sunday

Was there April of this year. Very few people were wearing masks. We took the metro and rode buses. Only a few senior wore masks, the rest of the older folk we rode with couldn't be bothered. 🙂 Hope this helps.

I recently discovered your Paris video’s and I enjoyed all of them, all the six times I watched them, so far LOL. I am definitely planning to go to visit Paris again, and this time do it the right way, like you guys. I like old stuff, especially out of the Belle Epoque period, late 1800, early 1900’s, the truck is to find really nice antique small paintings and posters, vases and bronze sculptures for cheap of course ! My ultimate dream would be to find a true masterpiece LOL. I did not had the time to explore Parisian glee markets and have no idea where they are. Looking forward to the watch your Paris video for the 7th time Haha!

Thank you! :) We went at the end of June. Luckily we didn't experience any issues with pickpockets on this trip but you should definitely be careful, especially when using the metro.
