Поделки сделанные данным господином великолепны. Смотрятся под музыку приятно, вижу даже кто-то схему спрашивает, но возникает вопрос, а начинающий радиотехник сможет повторить это. Если уже на первой поделки база транзистора подключена к 7 выводу регистра, вместо 9. Поэтому неверте, что вам показывают.

LED will eventually blow when running on 5V without dropper resistor . there is IC internal protection ~50..100mA per pin but IC total overload cant exceed 100mA

Maybe use a transistor/array and up the voltage with series LEDs

@@davey2k12 limited to red LEDs for 5V. dont forget thermal runaway

The power supply connection is missing in schemas "rain drop" and "inverting LED".
