I’ve used other products in the Effaclar line(cleanser, toner, spot treatment)and they dried even my oily skin out but the serum looks much better! If anyone is in the US, Ulta has it for $45(and I think it’s 5x reward points on La Roche-Posay right now).

Loving the Innisfree retinol thank you for the recommendation. I want to try La Roche-Posey Effaclar cause I see you are already on your third bottle, so it must be perfect for minimising pores, but it's so expensive.

Yeah, in my country LRP is totally off limits, but when i go to my neighboring countries(a minimum of 30% cheaper) i always buy something from LRP, usually the shaka sunscreen and the cicabalm heh.

hey soo can you recommend skincare for humid countries a lot of us are from SEA. And honestly i used to watch youtubers from US but i found you and was like finally products that are accessible and someone who has asian skin. But weather from my country is like whole year beach season hahhaha

I'm glad that you only mentioned the Innisfree retinol serum's effect on skin texture. The brand confirmed that there is only 0.015% retinol in the formulation, which most probably will not help with anti-ageing that much (or at all). I really wanted to try this serum since the ingredients list is amazing, but with such a low retinol percentage, I'll pass for now. It's a shame though because retinol has been shown to be effective in percentages as low as 0.025%. Couldn't they just add in a little more?

I saw a dermatologist saying that retinol is supposed to grown on you! Like, retinol is VERY aggressive and it's supposed to be like that, so the ideal thing it is to use retinol and increasing the amount with time (buying products with a upper amount of retinol). @/ellengendlermd is the dermatologist! :)

I love your videos as always Soo and I ll definitely try the Mito one.. But I have one question about the ridiculously expensive serum with *horse fat???**in it... How on earth do they add this in the product and how on earth is this an ingredient proven to be working?? I dont mind if a product is not 100% vegan but if there is animal cruelty involved🥺 then its going straight to the bin. Much love!❤

I'm curious if the Mito:on ampoule's formulation/consistency is somewhat similar to Tiam Vita B3 serum, because it has a 10% niacinamide as well. I tried the Tiam serum one time only from a sample and I ended up liking it, and been wanting to get the full size. Oh, also still waiting for that 500ml toners video :D

I’ve been curious can you use ampoule and serum together? Like the innisfree retinol and the la roche posay serum? Or a hyaluronic ampoule with a serum that has LHA like rovectin’s LHA ampoule? Also I love your recommendations, but my wallet maybe not so much 😂😂

Hello , i was thinking of trying but im like so scared coz i use to use retinols and I dont like the part of retinol that makes the skin purge. did you go through that with this one too? or did the bumps just disappear without purging?

@@Queen-gz7ep i didn't experience purging while using this retinol, maybe cuz the percentages are pretty low but it has salicylic acid. They are great combo to smooth out my skin texture..

I started using this innisfree retinol product along with a salicylic acid cleanser and realised that my face breaks out if I use salicylic acid, maybe I'm allergic because it's happened with other products before too. Then I found out that this product has retinol, salicylic acid and niacinamide and become of the salicylic acid in it, I'm still getting redness on my face. How can I counter this affect? Also is it advisable to use niacinamide serum with this product
