Corrections:
You do not need an Adobe subscription to operate the Lightroom app, but having one will unlock the image sync through Adobe and a few niche functions like the healing brush.
The symbol at 0:20 should be a "greater than" symbol, NOT a "less than" symbol. The point I was trying to illustrate was that smartphones are advantageous over DSLRs in certain regards, such as size.
Smartphone photography is becoming increasingly relevant in this day and age, so I thought I would make a video about it. To start off this series, I unveilved what are in my opinion, the four best smartphone photography apps currently on the market. Also, I plan on creating a second channel for landscape photography, and I will reveal more details in my next video. If you have any other apps you would like to recommend, make sure to comment them below, and of course rate the video and feel free to share this with other smartphone photographers you know! Thanks for watching, everyone, and thank you for the continued support of my channel. I will continue to work hard to bring you the highest quality tutorial content on KZfaq.

Hey, guys. The next video will be a bit late, since I have finals this week and next week. It will be covering equivalent exposures, and I am hyped with how it is turning out! I hope you all can understand. Over winter break I should be pumping them out at the usual rate, maybe even faster, and I will be getting the landscape photography channel going.

Its great and all this video was made but as a semi-pro photographer who uses a phone for digital work you should have mentioned Apps like Filmic Pro and Pro cam 6... and you don't need an adobe subscription to use adobes mobile app you only need it for sync and healing you just gave miss information there you should also have focused on the RAW format (.DNG) more since that's the most valuable thing you have on any camera.
@Apalapse
@Apalapse 5 жыл бұрын
Pro Cam 6 isn't cross-platform which is why I didn't include it. These were just the apps I found most useful to me, but I plan to write up an article that include more, like Filmic Pro. You are right about the Adobe subscription, and I updated the description to reflect that fact. Thanks for watching the video and for the feedback, I really appreciate it. Sometimes I make mistakes and it's important for people to point them out so I can correct them!

@@Apalapse Hay man if you want a full video on mobile photography / videography lets do a collab because i use apps like filmic pro in a production grade workflow and i treat my phone's like DSLR's. (also Apples API is something that needs to be talked about)

Hey buddy!! There is no need to download retouch app.. the same function is available in Snapseed named Healing
@Apalapse
@Apalapse 4 жыл бұрын
Retouch has a more advanced algorithm. I believe it's a proprietary tool similar to content aware in Photoshop. But, if Snapseed does the job then yes, there is no need for Retouch.

The first two apps are a must the other two I say(no), there are better ones out there. Plus the ProShot app has a 3.4 rating and most of it is full of negative comments. These are just my thoughts. For the pro shot option, you can use the Moment app.

Mustafa Mamuwala touch retouch is a bit more intelligent than snapseed’s content aware fill. Having both is also beneficial in case one works and the other doesn’t.

ProShot takes photos... I would also argue that photography also includes photo processing. Every photo taken on a smartphone is edited anyways since the phone itself applies its own RAW processing.

It’s not the best apps, it just your personal choice, lots of misleading info...
@Apalapse
@Apalapse 5 жыл бұрын
There's no way to quantify "best." The "best" photography app to someone might mean the app with the most filters, and the "best" to another might be the app with the most adjustable camera functions. I found four apps that I thought would create a well-rounded smartphone photography experience with manual controls, professional editing features, and photoshop-like functions.
