Totally agree about the high ranking for Maximum Racing: Rally Racer. I just got it in the wild last week and had never seen it in years of casually searching for odd Wii games. Others from your list I have: Castle of Shikigami III Target Terror (actually see this pretty often in the Midwest, may be regionally rare) Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus GTI Club (brilliant game I wish they'd made more of) Data East Arcade Classics (bought on day 1, had to hit about 10 big box stores to find a random Target that carried it) Aqua Panic I liked the sidebar mention of Veggy World as that one seems to be pretty tough to find too. I think a complete Gunslingers pack with guns is another one to watch.

This is by far the best list I've seen on the topic of Wii rarities so far, but after several months of collecting for the system myself, I've concluded that a few for these should've probably been switched around, and if not revoked from the list. 40. Guilty Gear XX Plus - Should've been slightly lower on the list. 39. Burger Bot - Probably should've been taken off the list. There's still a handful of retail-type sellers listing this one. Likely in the top 60 though, alongside its cousin VeggyWorld. 38. Target Terror - Should've been taken off the list. 37. Smiley World Island - Should've been lower on the list. 36. Castle of Shikigami III - Should've been taken off the list. Probably the rarest Wii game that's of high quality, but it's not extremely uncommon. 35. Rouge Trooper - Should've been slightly higher on the list. Maybe 40-38. 34. Reader Rabbit Preschool - Should've been taken off the list. 33. National Geographic Challenge - I agree with this position on the list. 32. Maximum Racing GPCR - Should've been taken off the list. 31. Cooking Mama 2-Pack - Should've been slightly higher on the list. Maybe 36-33. 30. Maximum Racing CCR - Should've been slightly lower on the list. 29. Deer Drive Legends - Should've been much lower on the list. 28. Arcade Classics - Should've been taken off the list. It's not even all that rare to find a copy out in the wild. 27. Maximum Racing D&SR - Should've been much higher on the list. Maybe 35-31. 26. Titanic Mystery - Should've been taken off the list. Last time I'll ever say that, thankfully. 25. Maybe 34-31. 22. Let's Dance - Should've been much lower on the list. I never see the NTSC version up for auction. 21. Championship Darts - Should've been lower on the list. 20. Chuck E. Cheese Super Collection - Should've been slightly higher on the list. Maybe 26-24. 19. Mr. Bean - Should've been slightly lower on the list. 18. Let's Sing 2016 - Idk about this one. There's still retail-type sellers with copies of this game, but once they run out, I could see this one being around 27-22. 17. Crazy Machines - Should've been slightly higher on the list. Maybe 23-19. You kinda ruined the prices of it with this video, so there are a lot more copies of the game up for auction now than there used to be. 16. Just found 2-for-1 Power Pack: Winter Blast/Summer Sports 2 at my local Goodwill. Super excited

Another one worth mentioning is Rodea the Sky Soldier. It's an absolutely great game and virtually impossible to find in any store. Online listings are rare and sketchy too. Had to break down and mod my wii so that I could play an iso of it that I found online. Unlike the majority of the games listed here, this one is a treasure. Please consider it if you make a sequel video.

I don't have very much, since it's very hard to do it here, and the prices are kind of doubled or tripled, but I managed to get to 111 games, including some collector's edition. And thanks to you I paid attention to games that normally I wouldn't (I prefer to set my eyes on well known good games, or hidden gems) and I recently got F1 2009 and just a few hours ago I bought Super Truck Racing. Both at a great price, for our standars. Please do a follow up video!

I only got maybe a 2 out of all your games (One of them I think was one of your runner's up). :P Now, I have seen a couple of those commonly before, but like you said, rarity fluctuates over time, so what was once common may now be rare.

I somehow have #3, but not any of the rest of them. It was from a Salvation Army eBay lot that I won. Never knew it was that hard until now. Right now going for a full set of Switch and Gamecube. Will do Wii one day. :)

I bought the last NEW/SEALED copies of Deer Drive Legends and 2 for 1 Power Pack (kawasaki/summer sports 2) for like 12 or 15.00 each. Now you don't see them at all for several months.

cool video! i've been working on my wii set for a while now. i actually managed to find a complete lets sing 2016 at my local store apparently right before they got recalled. i ended up selling it when it was still hot, it helped pay for a vacation i was taking :) congrats on the set!

The Title should be Rare Shovelware from Maximum games. You wouldn't catch me paying rare prices on Shovelware.

There is actually 256 worthwhile games on the Wii that are of AAA quality. I know it would be a daunting task, but since you have almost all Wii games can you do a video on them? It would be great for people who crap all over the Wii to see that there are that many games that are worth playing on the system. I only own 56 Wii games myself so I would have to acquire the other 200 to do the video lol. It would be so cool to see someone do such a video on the Wii.

Disney Violetta wasn't available on Ebay/Amazon until I asked DealTavern if he had any connections to acquire the game. Luckily he pulled through. Bobby hooked it up with that one, but he didn't tell me how many he was able to acquire to sell. Its better to buy it now while its still available.

I have reader rabbit (all of them) on Wii. They weren't that rare and I picked them up for $20 CIB (kindergarten I got sealed for 24$) in the last year, and no I didn't buy them because I need to have them all, but because I have kids. I buy games that get played, not for sitting there forever. That's what's wrong these days and collecting for systems, people snatch up 'rare' titles and hold on to them and not play them just waiting for the value to go up. Not saying you are one of those, but just my thoughts on the whole collecting scene.

I have some of the games showed, but that made in your top 40 only Rogue Tropper and Riding for Gold. I actually has thinking to sell my copy of rougue tropper, although I liked and find the game unique I was thinking to get some money to spend in other games, now with this video I'm glad I didn't sell it. I actually had come across some of those games like Target Terror,Data East Arcade ( a couple times, but didn't find for a good price or was sell out before I could buy) and GTI Club, kind regreat don't buying them when I could. Only found your topic at nintendo age a few months ago when your collection was nearly complete, when I checked again you already had completed in almost no time xD

I finally finished it after 5 years with the exception of Disney Violetta. I have not been able to find an NTCS version anywhere. If you ever come across one could you let me know :)

Warning: if the financial element/ long term value factors into your collecting-all the way back to Atari 2600 rare, crappy games never became especially valuable. I’m thinking those manufactured by Panda. Third party nes games, like the blue carts, are very rare. But they aren’t worth a heck of a lot. Rare games go up in value, but often they don’t go that far.

Just saying if you are looking for most of those look for a chain store in canada called "the bargain shop" they have a good amount of these.

Many of those games are way more common over in europe, perhaps only some copies reached american ntsc region

You seem like you know a lot about the Wii, so I've got a question for you: Was _The Ultimate Battle of the Sexes_ (www.gamefaqs.com/wii/605763-the-ultimate-battle-of-the-sexes) released here in North America? I've spent the last while trying to find any information on the game, and I couldn't come up with a definitive answer. I know it was released in Europe, as that version is readily available online, but I could only find low-res scans of the North American box art, with no copies floating around on eBay in the past three months minimum. I also couldn't find any pictures of the physical disc itself. Wikipedia's List of Wii Games accounts for it with a release date of December 27, 2011, but that's about it. Any information you have is greatly appreciated!
