I tested 3 versions of customed Win11 and found all of them very similar, light, fast boot and shutdown and stable. I decide to use NTdev Tiny 11 due to its familiar interface of the original.

Spectre is hands down the best, I tried most of them before, and they had some kinks that spectre doesn't, interestingly enough I had the most issues with revi, less from the performance but some games had glitches that did not appear under any other distro. While the systems are heavily debloated, windows has a tendency to still bloat like a balloon, that's why I reinstall windows every 6 months at max.

Yes spectre cuts down the bloatware if u compare it windows 11, but if you compare it the better custom OSes it isnt very good. Even AtlasOS is better than spectre. The best custom OS i currently know of is xOS which might be a bit overkill FoxOS is after that the best one and ggOS even after being discontinued, still holds its ground

@@hvhnubek yea with the top 4 rn XOS, FoxOS, KirbyOS and KernelOS they optimize the windows alot like ALOT so you are limited with them Luckily with XOS u can revert them with a batch file they provide If you are having problems with XOS and the other 3 u can use ggOS the next best option but again you have the problem of it being unsupported

I have tried many custom win11 versions (Ghost Spector, NexusOS, ReviOS, Tiny11...) I found that ReviOS is; by far, the best for me so far... Gonna try RectifyOS

I love ReviOS.. But for gaming i cant use it my gpu usage is so low compared to stock Windows i dont know why i tried everything.. 80fps felt like 5fps.. With stock windows i get like 130-200 (warzone 2) I5-13600k@5,4ghz 32gb 5600 cl32 Rtx 3070ti/ rx 7900xt (both Same results) Any tips? Btw i installed all Post install things what they recommend on their site

If I have a RTX 3090 and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D do I need a custom windows? All I'm going to use this computer for is gaming, my daily driver is a M1 Mac Mini and mobile I have a notebook running Linux Mint, so windows will ONLY be for games. I have to use it for VR mainly, right now it runs games pretty well with Linux/Proton. One of the major reasons I want to install a custom build of windows is to change to look of windows, the colors windows uses makes me physically ill. I use dark mode on both MacOS and Linux.

@Shafintech 24 hrs in. Not 1 issue. I did appreciate the not needing to manually configure EVERY DETAIL like I do with ghost.. But at the same time I appreciated that ability. All in all.. they're both great imo. I'll run revi for awhile.. deff matches up with ghost. Personal experience.. revi seems.. just a little quicker.. I'm a die hard ghost user.. so.. props to revi team

ghost and revi only. u can try the rectifyOS but never install tiny10 or tiny11. THEY simply change a few of the BIOS options while installing. IT literally had disabled my action button mode when i installed it. I had no idea at first as to what stuff was changed but later I found out that the action button was disabled and the fan ALWAYS ON option was also turned off

@@yReoo i am expecting that you have a DESKTOP PC with this config, so the best option for you would be revi os but the catch is which revi OS. If your main reason to use this OS is to play games and you overclock your cpu then yeah revi OS 11 would be perfect but if you dont overclock or utilize full clock speed of your cpu then go for the reviOS 10. (install using ISO file only, dont use the AME wizard installer) . PS- disable the HPET and enable HAGS once revi OS 11 is installed, it gives little boost to the games.

fps sometime depend monitor for you regular windows is good but if want to try then custom os go for revi os
