Not gonna lie that black widow exhaust definitely sounded the best on the Durango personally

My 07 durango 5.7 hemi, from cats back duals with thrush glasspacks,jba headers, ran drivers side out passenger side in rear to make equal length pipes, 3.5 ×18 inch chrome tips, sounds awesome, especially when shifting at 3 to 6 grand, it kinda bellers at shift.

#4 there is a weld attachment to the LCGP’ S THAT CONNECT TO THE 2 1/4 pipe to make the pipe longer, is there another pipe you would recommend for the LCGP’s ?

I did this same setup on my 2023 Durango RT with the 1791 Vibrants and X-Pipe after watching this video. But I went with the 5 inch Blue Tipped Weldons and having them sticking out back. It is Bad Ass looking and Sounds Awesome! Thank You for what you do 😁

i have a 21 durango rt. i did an h-pipe in place of the suitcase muffler and a set of carven r mufflers welded to 4in tips out back. love the sound, nice and deep.

I did the mid muffler and reso delete and added the lgcp resonators on my 16 Durango RT. Its too loud and I feel like I lost low end torque. Id like to put the mid muffler back on but I can't find a mid one. Would you be willing to sell and ship a mid muffler to NC?

I'd say it's either the LCGP or the Flowmaster setup is best. Are we sure those are 5" tips on the Flowmaster setup though?

This shows that the 5.7L doesn't need much to sound good on the Durango. Just delete the resonators and add a decent set of mufflers. Even a basic resonator delete sounds good if you add large tips to act as a megaphone. My favorite are the Outlaws with the Neighbor Haters following a close second but they all sound good.

My liking is the large case vibrant xpipe combo. Not too raspy, volume is there, but not stupid. $ for $, delete the mid muffler suitcase, xpipe it and be done with it.

All of those sound awesome..once the resonant or and the suitcase were out of the picture

Next time you’re doing a full straight pipe I’d love to hear one side with a resonator delete and one side with rear muffler delete. I feel like the rear muffler delete adds sound while the mid resonator delete adds rasp. Obviously wouldn’t expect the job to stay that way but I wonder what the sound would be .

So all of em had the rear muffler (not resonator) deletes? The mid-muffler is actually a pair of resonators in a stamped steel case. I don't know if there's any cross flow between the two banks in the stock setup, but yeah the front big thing is the resonators and the rear hulking on a are the actual mufflers. That's why removing the rears gains you so much more noise than deleting or replacing the mids. I myself just replaced my stock exhaust on my 2022 with the Magnaflow kit, and it's quite obvious the mids are the bullet resonators while the rears are the larger oval mufflers. Mine is only the 3.6, but the exhaust is identical. The kit is the same part # for the 5.7 & 3.6. While it sounds great, it's SO quiet I can hardly tell I even have a $1600 stainless aftermarket exhaust system on it. It's sounds great but is only marginally louder than stock. I thought about doing the mid resonator delete rather than the muffler delete. I want it a little louder, not a lot. I don't need obnoxious, especially from a V6. Having an X pipe tho is definitely the way to go for best tone. That 3rd one, the Vibrant bullets and X I think sounded best despite being less loud. Gotta remind people loud≠good. Loud is loud and good is good. They're not synonymous with each other.

I don’t know what to get done to my Durango R/T tow n go. It’s preowned and the guy who had it before left the suitcase muffler in the middle and took everything else off… and replaced it with some crappy mufflers and whatnot… so basically I bought this vehicle without the High Performance Exhaust it comes with 😢 so now idk if I should get the full Borla S Type Catback setup or the setup on this video with the flowmaster outlaws and the 5 inch tips… they both sound great! 🔥 I just don’t want any drone. I’m looking for more of a throaty deep sound. I don’t want anything with cracks and pops and I don’t want anything that sounds like a hollow tin can. Which one would you recommend between the 2 setups?
