Helvellyn via Striding and Swirrel edge has been my favourite so far. Good video. I will be adding some of these to my bucket list.

The four waterfalls walk is also near Pen y Fan, my personal favorite hike.

Helvellyn is definitely one of the best walks I have done. For an impressive waterfall it's worth the hike through Teesdale to Cauldron snout (yes it's a real place) where u can walk up the waterfall. It's a taxing walk in places but we'll worth it. There is also High force and low force just down the river from cauldron snout with an equally impressive waterfall.

Helvellyn was my current hike and WOW what a place. We did few hikes in UK but this is the best so far. We used Striding Edge which was quite challenging. My nine year old needed some help with high steps and supporting her on edges. It was Worth an effort.

Good video. Though I dispute the fact that dovedale isn’t that well known.. it’s very well known around the east midlands and the amount of people there on a weekend really highlights that.. it’s generally the busiest place I go for a hike

@@joshtheintern hi 😂 yeah i know I went hike last weekend though.. in Tai Shek Mo / Crest Hill its in Lo Wu near the Shenzhen border. Overlooking in nearest city in Shenzhen china. And its quite amazing though looking in the other side ☺️. I highly recommend it when you comeback hk.

which route did you take up the Scafell mountain?

He took the Eskdale route, heading into the upper valley, a remote, silent and grand place, headed up the Cam Spout water falls and up Foxes gully to Foxes tarn, where the summit is a short climb up a scree slope. I Couldn't see his descent route though, the one I took on that walk was just following the ridge south to Slight Side and then back to Eskdale valley, although the path does lose itself in the ferns on the final descent into the valley. I am very happy he put this walk in as it is one of the best walks in the Lake District yet is fairly unknown.
