@@fahsky there are places like next to men in black, escape from gringos that have places you can dump your soda/water . By the time your done with the ride the freestyle cup has reset and you can refill again!! Mind you these places are in the locker area

I've done the full day, followed by stay and scream, followed by HHN. It was pretty horrible. My shoes literally fell apart. I threw them away and I walked to the busses barefoot at the end of the night. Totally worth it ☺️.

I have a lot of anxiety around travel & crowds, but loooove theme parks & Halloween - these kinds of videos help me feel more prepared & secure 👻 my son (11) & I are going to HHN Orlando this year with Express, second HHN! I am kinda worried we won't be able to hang in the heat/crowds of Stay & Scream areas, but we'll take that on when it comes around

I’m from Anaheim California and I attended Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood and went to HHN 2021 on Halloween night which was the last night if I’m not mistaken. I got through all the mazes and on top of that knocked out. Harry Potter ride, Jurassic Park ride and The Mummy ride as well. So I gotta say having a game plan ahead of time is a huge game changers…👌🏻💯

Thoughts on going to Universal during October of you are NOT planning to go to HHN. I have kids who are too young. You've said in other videos crowds during the day are variable during the fall but are you getting " a bad deal " .... When exactly would we get kicked out for HHN? I've been there once in the summer and we got a lot out of the 7 to close time period. Just wondering if October is the right time for us. New subscriber. Love to see how much fun you guys have. This is a tough one! We’ve never been during HHN and not gone to the event, but I personally don’t think it ruins your experience. Islands of Adventure will still be open for some time after Studios closes, so if you just prioritize things in Studios earlier in the day it’s really not a big deal. Plus, the event doesn’t run every night. You can look up the calendar on their website to see exactly what dates it’s running and try to plan around it as best as possible. Another thing to keep in mind is that the parks just aren’t open as late during the “off” season. We’ve seen the parks close as early as 5 or 6 in the afternoon. We really feel like it’s a personal choice!

Thanks for the tips! Especially the one about buying single day tickets and upgrading to multi-day ones if specials come out. I’ve been waiting to buy, hoping for a better deal. I think I’m going to buy one day tickets (plus we’ll have our free one with passes) & hope for a good deal so we can add a day or two. HHN is only running 4 of or 6 nights we’ll be there. Will we have to call to get upgrade/add tickets? I’m guessing the website won’t handle it well and not charge us full price. Good to know about when to get in line. I knew about stay and scream and was planning on doing it, but didn’t realize I had to be in that section that early. Going to be a long two hours, which I usually avoid waiting that long, but if it will let us do more houses, I’ll do it. Will definitely need to know which holding PRN is for Beetlejuice section though. That is our top “must do”. First timers here, so collecting all the tips I can get.

Yeah you’ll have to call Universal to upgrade, unfortunately lol. Stay and scream can be rough, but if you take the time to rest and enjoy some food it’s not that bad! We’re pretty sure that the Duff Brewery stay and scream will be for Beetlejuice, and it might be crazy just for that house!

Great content! I happen to be visiting on 9/4 and am just finding out about HHN. I’ll be doing both parks w/express. I’m thinking of adding HHN as well. Is it possible to stay at IOA until closing and then head over to HHN? Or would you suggest heading to HHN early?

We would suggest going to stay and scream at Studios, especially if you only have one night at HHN! You basically get early access to the event and can get 1-2 houses done before the crowds really set in. We hope you have an awesome trip!

Does HHN get pretty busy in September? My boyfriend and I are going to Universal the during the third week of September and I was just wondering if HHN is busy during the week? Also, you guys are amazing! Love the tips and tricks!

The event gets pretty busy itself, but September isn’t one of the busier times during the year. You can be guaranteed there will still be some long waits, but it’s usually a lot slower than the summer months!

Would love some one to do a video of length of que lines and the true amount of distance between haunts. I think a lot of people who have never been really can't visualize the way the park is laid out for HHN and the normal parks. Also tips on when to arrive if your not doing stay and scream and how bad the entrance get backed up an hour before the event starts. I'm amazed at how people are over whelmed by crowd size and walking there first year. This will be year 23 for me, I only go one night the walking and crowds amaze me how much bigger they get every year.

With express, you can probably do all the houses without stay and scream, but it saves you so much time! Plus, you don't have to deal with the massive line at the front gate.

Hey there! So Tyler actually worked in orthotics for a while and apparently shoes can have different wear patterns and put pressure on different parts of your feet so changing shoes can give areas of your foot a chance to recover!

We have never done an RIP tour unfortunately! We have heard nothing but great things about them though! It’s really the only way to guarantee yourself to see everyone house in one night!

I would also add a tip that the posted wait times for the houses are not always accurate because it’s based on how many express pass people go through and rip tours the less express and rip tour members the faster the stand by line will be

I done the upgrade. Has a ticket for 31st and then frequent fear came out, cost $157, then I paid $237 I think it was to upgrade to frequent fear. That was for 2 of us off course

Question, when we buy our coke freestyle cup in July 2022, can we bring it back in Oct 2022 and just pay the $10.00 a day??? Thanks for these tips! We're going to our very first HHN this October. We are planning a full day at universal and hhn at night 😅 we go to universal twice a year so we are mainly going to ride the new velocicoaster and Hagrids lol definitely planning on going back to the hotel to change, rest, eat then head back. Hope we survive 😝

What if you bought passes for the rip tour and put both in your name,would the person you bring have to have a id or just me since both passes and tickets are in my name? Thanks again and I enjoyed the video.

They usually make you give a specific name for each ticket, but if they’re both associated with your name, I can’t see why you’d need another ID. Doesn’t hurt to have it handy, though!

Can you tell me how the free ticket with the premiere annual pass works? This is my first HHN ever! I’ve just become an AP and I’m a complete noob.

We’re not completely sure because we’ve never used it, but I believe you have to call Universal and get a physical ticket for the night you would like to come. You can only use the free ticket on select nights, so talking directly with Universal is the best way to go about it!

Sooo, my ticket for HHN is for the night before my first day at the main park. Naturally, I won't be able to do stay and scream 😭 Any advice on how early I should show up to the park to get in line for HHN?

Oh goodness. I guess it depends on what day you are going. We know that certain days and times of year are busier than others. People start loading up in stay and scream at like 3:30 sometimes!

Hi, I have a doubt: what happens if I leave the park to go hotel and then when I return early to access stay and scream area but they do not allow me to enter because it is at its maximum capacity? Could something like this happen to me?

They do open up a third stay and scream area that acts as overflow if necessary. You definitely won’t be one of the first people to go through a house, but they also won’t kick you out of the park. No worries!

@@ThePughTwo being from Tennessee we have to prepare for trips well in advance 😉but thanks for all the advice now if I can drop so more weight I might be able to add the harry potter rides,the veloc.,Hagrids,hulk and RRR and that will have me to experience every thing I was looking foward to enjoying I experienced all the other attractions I wanted The Mummy being my favorite ride,transformers / Spiderman being my fav 3d/interactive experience men in black fav family ride, dudley do right fav water ride and The Bourne Stunt,fav show

me and my mom are going to be in the area of the hollywood park for a convention in october so we’re thinking of going (for the first time!!) so this is perfect! i believe you guys are on the florida side, but is HHN wheelchair accessible? i can’t walk for very long without a TON of pain so we’d probably need to get a wheelchair for most of it, but i could walk through the houses/mazes/etc if needed

We are on the Florida side. We’ve never actually been to the Hollywood parks! But Universal does a great job of accommodating their guests, so we’re sure you’d be able to use a wheelchair for most of the event!

That's such a difficult question! And it depends on SO many variables. If you do one night with express, it's gonna be a long night, and you have to be willing to stick it out. Plus, with only one night, if it rains or something, you don't have a choice but to plug on. Without express, the lines can get crazy for the houses sometimes and only you know your capacity to stand in line. I hope this helps!! lol

I am thinking to go either on 3rd Sep or 4th Sep. This is the first time for me . Will I be able to cover it all in 1 night. I have two options to get 2 nights or an express pass for 1 night. Two night is 176+Tax and 1 Night with Express is 191+Tax. Will 2 night be more fun. PS : We have express pass unlimited from hotel on 2nd and 3rd for park and we have 4 day park tickets

It just depends on what you’d rather do! If you’re willing to stay the entire time and HHN and don’t mind waiting in line, you can definitely get everything done in two nights. If you’d rather just run through all the houses in a shorter amount of time, than we’d probably recommend the express pass. It just depends!

Buy the express if you have never been. The stress of covering the park trying to get through the massive que lines and the lines make the express worth every dime.

Lol Anna felt the same way before she went, but she loves it! There’s lots of screaming, but she’s never come close to hitting anyone by accident 😂 we would really suggest trying it once! Just to see!

Not a stupid question at all because they don't have either. You have to leave in order to access those amenities!

We would be shocked if they didn’t offer some type of multi day ticket to the event. I actually talked to a Universal rep a few days ago and they told me there are multiple HHN products that have yet to be released, so we’re assuming they’re referring to FF passes.

I bought tickets last year and they said we could use them any night this year. If a night is sold out, can we still use them on that night?

This is a great question! We would think so since they told you that you could use them any night, but you might want to verify that with Universal just to be sure. You can use their new texting line so you don't have to wait on the phone forever. Our thought would be as long as the parks don't hit capacity, they'll let you in.

I had this same question! My family and I went to reserve our ticket the very first day they came out this year and the person helping us said we don’t need to have a ticket reserved. Regardless of if they are sold out that night, they’ll let you come in!

No. Scream early is a ticket you can purchase if you don't have access to the parks that allows you to get into Stay and Scream!

If you have a daytime ticket to the park, no. If you don't have a daytime ticket, yes but we're not sure if that's an upgrade they're going to offer this year or not.

Eh, while we are sure it’s an absolute blast, some people don’t have the means and it is not necessary to enjoy your trip! We would love to do one, but between the ultimate frequent fear pass with express and us getting to go between 14-20 nights this year, it just seems like overkill! Much to your point, we hear incredible things about it and if you are limited on time, there is no doubt it’s the best option!

@@ThePughTwo i would agree but its only $299 and you have a year to save for it. Thats few less dinners out over a 12 month period - its not some egregious amount. I used to do express and still recommend it if you are going multiple nights. If its a 1 day trip, RIP all the way
