@@TheCompleteGuide1 Thank you. No. No prep. Just did as you suggested to the T! I also pepared good examples as you asked, and wrote down a couple of questions to ask. But by the time I was asking, I had already been offered the Team Leader's position. I took in my notes too which held my examples. Your time and effort made it happen.

@@natashagardner8563 These questions come from real CO-OP interview questions so they have been used in the past. This is not every single question that could be asked - google CO-OP interview questions if you want to see everything that has been asked.

@@natashagardner8563 it was “mainly what would you do in this situation” or “tell me about a time when you” type questions and then there was also the standard “why co op” “what do you know about the cooperative” I used the points in the video about how they used to be somerfields and it came from the Rochdale society of equitable pioneers back in 1844 and she was really impressed by that as it showed Id done good research. I also put the facts in that there are over 7000 stores across the UK, owned by 17 million individual members and contribute £34 billion a year the economy. Also for the why co op question say because of their high ethical standards and ask about what the store is currently doing charity wise. Basically all my information came from this video and my interviewer was pleased. Good luck I have full faith in you to smash it!! Xx

They should know your CV and adapt the questions to this. Obviously they invited you to interview knowing where you are in your career and stores like the CO-OP recruit directly from schools. I would think about times where you worked in teams for school projects or school sports etc. These questions are tough so you need to rack your brain to think of anytime (they can be small examples). For the good customer service one you can use an example of when you received or saw great customer service from someone else and talk about how this is the level of service you would look to provide. @@TheCompleteGuide1 they don't read your cv... I worked for asda for 2 years, my whole section I managed was bigger than the whole co op store. I could do thier entire store quicker than the 4 people they have on at once... Seriously, they do not read your cv

There are lots of job out there - the fact you got to interview is impressive in and of itself (not everyone makes it this far). If you have a contact at the co-op drop them an email thanking them for the interview, asking if they have any feedback to help you develop and say that you hope that in future there will be a role at the co-op well suited for your skills.

You have to be interested about their history because you need to stand out from the crowd, it’s your opportunity to show how much you want the job and if u don’t want it enough you won’t get it

If they have invited a sixth former to interview they obviously should be aware of the fact that you can't work school hours. That's a reasonable answer.

The facts in the video are enough I would say. You don't need to be a walking co-op encyclopedia! You just need to know enough to show you've done some research and bothered to prepare for the interview. They are not assessing your knowledge - this question is used to assess attitude and preparation.
