Is it just me, or did Robin and Marian's wedding and Cinderella's wedding look startlingly similar?

the only thing I hate about the old disney wedding is that the movies were mostly about the girl's struggle to defeat or get away from some villain, and either by being saved or some other circumstance, once the villain is vanquished she automatically gets the guy. We barely get to know the prince or why the two might be a good couple beyond the fact that the plot tells us they should, so it's really unromantic. I think that's why I value the tangled romance story, and the princess and the frog. Because they didn't fall in love automatically the first time they met, actual time and investment is required to bring the relationship to fruition, so when they get married, it feels like it's more important that when the villain is vanquished, whereas in the other movies, it's simply an add-on at the end, so that they can claim they lived happily ever after.

My favorite is rapunzel's wedding.

How was Tangled not 1?! I mean the Little Mermaid ending is cute and all, but really the only part that really touched me was Ariel telling Triton she loves him because he let her be a human instead of forcing her to stay a mermaid. Don’t hate me, but she never even apologized for endangering her kingdom or sisters, she only apologizes when she got caught in Ursula’s deal (or even making a deal with her) Tangled is absolutely perfect in every single way aside her hair (admittingly her wedding dress is a bit too simple for me) but the entire short easily knocked Ariel’s out. Also Tiana’s ballgown which is technically a wedding dress is so gorgeous. She ended up getting a free but expensive dress for free just for turning into a frog

Guys its not that weird! Way back when, women got married in they're teens. If you were in your 30s and not married you were as good as done! It was most common for a young girl to start being courted once she had her period for a few years, or started it. 15, 16,17, and 18 were the prime ages. American laws have only been around for 200 years, there is still 1,700 plus years left, not even including BC.

Rapunzel's wedding is probably the most hilarious Disney thing I have ever seen! =D I giggled like a little girl the first time I saw it, mainly because it felt kind of strange seeing those characters again so soon, but with a new little story. But within minutes, I was laughing because it is just so much fun! Something tells me it was a good thing the short movie was done so soon after the "actual" movie, otherwise it might have ended up awkward, like some Disney sequels did.

Luckily, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Tiana are already adults. Rapunzel and Tiana is 18 and Cinderella is 19.

I hope in the Tangled series will have a good explanation as to why Lance Strongbow and Cassandra weren't at Eugene and Rapunzel's wedding, because you would think that since Lance is Eugene's best friend he would have been made best man, instead of Shorty and Cass would have have Rapunzel's Maid of Honor. I know the short came out many years before the show but still they shouldn't add new characters in a Midquel, because then they have to come up with explinations as to why added characters in the series weren't in quote and quote sequels. I love Fredric and Arianna's expresions in the short, very funny. The flower must have made Arianna young forever, because she looks the same but Fredric definitly looks older.
