I have been in the RC flight hobby for over 35 years and to see the lack of judgement from some pilots here pisses me off. No wonder some governments want to make it harder for people to use drones. Filming on the beach, flying over people and more. Those idiots should be arrested and prosecuted! They mess it up for all of us that understand safety and understand what may go wrong with anything that flies. Is you see this reckless behavior go to them and tell them to think again! Explain the damage they do for everyone! We must educate some people since they obviously aren't grown up to understand this them self!

Johan Fasth People are allowed to film on the beach, there's no law against that. You're not allowed to fly within a certain distance of other people or buildings, though.

I've flown over the beach... I stayed over the water to minimize the amount of people I was flying over. I also don't focus on any one person who hasn't given me permission first while flying. That's harassment no matter what the laws say about where you are allowed to fly. I haven't run into naked people, but I have flown around girls in bikinis. However they don't seem to have any objections because I tend to focus on the shot rather than just hovering and peeping. The shot over the beach was a fast trucking shot along the beach. A yatch I filmed was in the no wake zone going slow and I did two manual rotations around the boat. During the second lap, people were waving at the drone from the yatch. The third shit was a waterfall. I was trying to get tilt up reveal shots of it. Kept getting hikers in the shot and a few girls in bikinis swimming at the bottom. My point is when people see you are trying to get a shot of something instead of just hovering over them, they seem to have less of a problem with your drone

One conclusion I've come to from watching these vids, is that these are some really crappy pilots. Learn how to fly better before you start flying around people. You mess up and someone gets hurt. Secondly, there are certain lines that should not be crossed, flying over people on a beach is one thing, but in the case of that female sunbather, he was outright harassing her, that's the sort of thing that keeps the word drone as being a negative thing. He's giving drones a bad name, and not doing other enthusiasts any favors with this sort of behavior. As a drone pilot, like it or not, you are an ambassador of the hobby. You need to understand that sometimes you need to know when to cool it rather than taking things too far and crossing lines. It's honestly people like him that make the general public so aggressively anti drone. I fly in public parks often, I never have negative interactions with the general public, I often get many people asking me all about the hobby and where they can get into it, if anything I turn more people on to it because I use a little common sense when flying and practice good etiquette. I love this hobby, and just hate seeing inexperienced or immature pilots going out of their way to ruin it for the rest of us. Bottom line, don't fly like a dickhead, you give the rest of us a bad name and a bad image.

From all the so called pilots in THIS video ALONE, I find the one with the Phantom drone that fell from THAT HEIGHT onto that poor woman's head was the worst. She could've ended up in hospital or even dead, and the pilot in prison. Stop giving drone enthusiasts a bad name!

7:36 That didnt made any sense what so ever, he only hit a little of the propeller not smack center on the drone which then could have been understandable. I think that was on purpose.
