Since a week i have been watching your videos on youtube. Your positivity and energetic way of bringing your experiences to the viewer is addictive. I understand your reasoning and i am happy that you are reaching (through dreaming and hard work) your goals and making your dreams come true. Even though I visited Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise 20 years ago (and i loved it). What is the outlook for the Oil industry as of 2023 in Alberta? Oil prices still seem reasonable, is there a demand for non-high school required qualified jobs in this industry such as being a Roughneck or Trucking?

That is interesting that these are supposedly 'easy' to get. I'm a PR recently moved to Calgary. After over a month of applying for jobs online and in person, haven't had a single call back. Not any admin assistant jobs, not retail, not any customer-service or even warehouse jobs. Thanks for sharing though!

I am in Calgary now and no one is hiring. It is so difficult here for a new immigrant. Found a job, but I get only 25-30h max with 2 jobs 😢

The job market in Calgary right now, March,12,2023 is horrible. I have been looking for a few months now, and applying on sites like job bank which is like playing slot machines that never pay out. Some may be real but I believe and I've heard this before that many of the jobs don't exist? So why put them on there than? Really? Still this country is inundated with immigration who are willing to work for less, and the doors wide open by this current Libtard government. This government has incentives for hiring immigrants over Canadian's because it's part of their strategy to drive wages down. Sadly those who are Canadians and have lived here their whole lives were brought up in a lifestyle that fosters independence and self reliance. Inflation or taxes have continued to sky rocket while the wages continue to take a nose dive. It's a recipe for shit soup for most Canadians. There should also be a rental cap here though this government hasn't thought about the people who can barely make it through. God Bless.
