When my family went a year ago we splurged after saving and got the Cabana! It was for my mom’s birthday and she wanted nothing more than a chill cool place to relax and not fight for chairs 😊

Thanks for the tip on the water shoes, that will be really helpful when I go. I've never been to Volcano Bay, but I keep seeing the entrance to the park when I stay at Aventura, and that's only fueled my excitement to go to the park for the first time. 😊

What do you do with your water shoes when you go on the rides? Do you have to take them off and leave them at the entrance to the ride? Thanks

Yes, there are little spots to put them at the entrance of the ride!

If it is a tube or raft slide, aquacoaster, or either of the rivers (lazy or crazy) you can keep your water shoes on! Only need to take them off for drop slides and body slides. Same goes for goggles.

I haven't been in a year or so but isn't there a towel return just for resort guests by the entrance/exit? I saw one last time I was there.

I was able to bring in 2 cans of coke into the park my last visit. They will check your bag to make sure it isn't beer. Very important to keep your feet protected in the crazy river.
