Born in 80. I know my 90s classics. I was a teenager in the 90s. I was also a graffitti artist/BBoy. I also skated. As a graffitti artist, we batttle tested every single shoe we could. AND, As a collective, we often spoke about shoes and clothes., and we bought shoes for 3 MAIN reasons, they had to look good, and be good for running in. They also needed to be good quality, AMD comfortable NIKE AIR MAX BG (+ 90s). THESE were our go-to ALL rounder for writers, They came in ALL colour ways under the sun. Purple, reds, white, black, aqua, blue, purple etc. Making them a good 'crew' shoe. These days they are said to be golfing shoes. But, these looked great with jeans. And where Im from, we wore Country Road, or Jag sweaters, which are like designer in Australia. And a lot of well known artists alwaus wore a designer fit, with these shoes.it was just a thing we created. We wore adidas tracksuits. Adidas were popular among most groups. But adidas were great for BBiying because of rap cukture in Australia lending styles from LA and the west coast. We did habe a new york/east coast fit as well. Which were simikar but with bomber jackets. And , we also wore stussy overalls, Kangol hats. These were super popular around 1991 92.. And we even wore baggies. Its a trip to see all our style be copied all these years later. But back then, if you wore a specific combination of clothes. People knew you as a writer, a rapper, or raver. For instancex If you were a raver Youd wear Joe Bloggs Jeans, some clean puma suedes, adidas gazelles, and a decent jacket l, turtleneck/ skivvy, basically classic skate shoes were safe for ravers. But you wouldnt really wear nike BWs with joe bloggs. If u did, youd look silly. Writers wore designer shorts in summer, with minimal bramding shirts, or designer shirts. If you were a rapper, Youd wear baggies, and a hoody, with sone Jordans, or even timberlands.. i liked the writer look we wore classics, SUEDES, ADIDAS SUPERSTARS. Jeans, and a nice clean minimal hoody. f you break danced, youd wear full tracksuits, or shorts with a track top, and tshirts, with some puma classics or nike cortez. Safe bet everytime. If you skated, you wore some vans, AirForce1 lows . What can I say, these were 1 of the best hooping / skate / lesiure shoes in the 90s. Prices. NIIKE AIR MAX BW Prices for Air max varied, but generally, were around $90-$130 Australian dollars. Jordan 6s were aroud 140-$150, and puma suedes were $60 adidas superstars $79- $89, gazelles were around $69. But were widely accepted as a cool shoe.

I would never have guessed that I needed a Kukini-Spiridon hybrid in my life until I saw that Stüssy release. There is a nice colorway of the Journey Run, they cost 99,99€ But havent pulled the trigger (yet). But I got the Adidas Climacool 1 in white for the hot summer days. They look nice and there are so many ventilation spots that I think any other shoe will just feel hot next to it.

Im unhappy with Nike again. they messed up the sizing on the royal big bubbles. My size was a normal routine but my wifes size is EU39 so thats what I bought online from END clothing but its a half size too small and it states that it is a whole half size bigger in CMs then the red OG big bubble in EU39 but its visually a half size smaller. Its just more time and energy wasted in a more than busy lifestyle.

Nike has taken their customers for a ride. Quality has gotten worse and worse despite raising the mrsp over and over. I am through with nike.
