Montreal, a teeming metropolis in the French-speaking Quebec province of Canada. Home to the largest French-speaking population of any city outside of Paris, France, the second most populated city in the country, and home to the third-largest airport in Canada by passenger volume. Seeing that we’ve covered the two preceding airports in Toronto Pearson and Vancouver International, it is only fitting that this video is about the top 5 facts regarding Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, and a little bit about my journeys that I have taken so far through this airport.

This is a very interesting video about Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. I live close to it and enjoy the planes a lot. When you mention that there are three runways at this airport, it is partially true. It would have been more accurate to specify that the 10-28 runway, the shortest one, is no longer used for take-offs and landings, but mostly as a taxiway. Only the two parallel runways (06-24) are now used for take-offs and landings. Have a great day!✈

Hi! Awesome video! I am from Montreal and I have travelled a lot, so I am very used to YUL airport. It's a nice airport, not the best, but it is quite nice. We really enjoyed staying in the Star Alliance Lounge, it's really worth it to stay there while your waiting for your plane. They even have a small food counter with delicious food, I was really surprised. And that lounge is just so comfortable. Anyways, I'm going at YUL in 6 days. Going to Cancun!!!

Hello, can I ask how long of a walk it is from the domestic terminal to the far end of the international departures terminal?

Rwy 10-28 has been closed for a number of years! The airport authority has plans to build additional gates out towards 10-28 from the main terminal.

It's been officially relabeled from 10-28 to twy C in early 2024.

8:57 you can even see the big white X on 28 showing that it's closed.

Me as a Montrealer love my airport so much. I’m 25 soon so I saw is transformation a lot. P.s. the international zone was opened to domestic passengers until 2019. Its really a shame, best part of the airport.

Does anyone know how long it takes to go from the domestic terminal to the far end of the international departure terminal by foot?

If you walk quickly it's roughly 5-10 min

@@DeltaBravoTango Thanks. It looks like there is a security check before entering the international terminal; does it take long? I will be arriving in one of the gates in the domestic and didn't realize one would have to go through another security point.

@@rps1689 yes there is a security gate. It may take more time or go fast, will depend on time of entry.

You can if you are arriving from outside the country, and if you are travelling internationally (outside of Canada and USA)

Mirabelle airport was a first class airport, call me old or nostalgic, but Montreal did the worst thing to demolish such grand airport.

The Trudeau name needs to be removed from this airport. All Canadians need to stop flying there until the Trudeau name is deleted.

@@DeltaBravoTango Edmonton is the largest Airport in Canada. The old YMX in Montreal, which now is a freight airport is bigger than Toronto. Bigger, larger not busiest.
