Thanks for this video on Ficus plants! I have 10 varieties. I keep them all fairly close together but not bunched up. My main tip is "don't give up!" I moved to Colorado last December. My 5ft. Fiddle Leaf Fig froze on the moving truck. I let it sit in my sunroom for a couple of months until every leaf fell off. I still watered it periodically. After about 4 months I chopped the trunk off to about 2 inches tall. Set it out of the way and stopped worrying over it. I gave it a little water every couple weeks! In July I noticed new growth coming out the side of the old stump. It now is about a foot tall and has 7 or 8 new healthy leaves. Still sitting where I put it in April, I'm so thankful I didn't discard it like I had to some of my other large plants!!👍👏🙌❤

I have a Ficus elastica tineke, Ficus Audrey and Ficus Benjamina variegated growing indoors and an old potted Ficus elastica burgundy growing outside in my fernery. I love them so much and adore their different characteristics 🌿

I use Repotme's clear pots, which I love because I can see root growth and it helps me tell when to water. I noticed some of the roots are growing out of the slots on the side. Can i just leave them that way? Im just not sure how to tuck it back in the slots.

I’ve had a weeping Ficus since 1990. It’s a tree now. It hasn’t moved from same spot since I moved to town house 2001. It’s huge. Gets lots of bedroom indirect sun. Very rarely drops leaves. I trim it every other year because it gets like a monster!

The one in this video was found at Home Depot. Maybe they have one at your local store? Local greenhouses usually have good options as well.

I would mention what to use for Top Mulch . i dont ""mulch"" as Such , but use tobacco , cinnamon, and dried 🌶️ Pepper on Top to Discourage PESTs 🚫🪲 . . and Water from the Bottom , so the Top Half or so of the Pot is Damp but not Saturated . Helps keep those d@mn Fungus Gnats AWAY ❗
