Im a few weeks into owning my right hand drive import 350gt. Cv joints, rocker covers.. looks like oil filter rubber too... So much to do 😖 Engine and gearbox lovely though, diff perfect. Also spark plug 6 had some oil in it... :( Rocker cover for sure.

my first 5 mods consisted of: 1. air ride suspension 2. no front logo 3. no rear logo 4. tinted headlights and taillights 5. tinted windows

Yo I'm starting to really like these G35's and thinking about saving up for one for my first car, most likely the coupe version. But I've heard a lot of great things about them and already got my first 500 saved up, can't wait! Also the vid was great man, you def earned a sub from me.

Wish I could start with bolt ons but man I got my g35x bout a month ago and damn ive had to put so much money in it, whole front end suspension, valve covers, hub assemblies, belts, radiator, cooling fans, even the damn clockspring. Bought new ass tires but turns out two wheels are bent, just my luck as always. ATLEAST these cars are pretty easy to work on I installed everything in a couple days.

Glad you got everything done in a couple days. Maintenance is definitely key, but once you get done with all that, they’ll be a lot of time for modding since these cars are proven to be reliable.

That’s dope you got your hands on one ! But tbh, I definitely love the look of the spec d headlights for the G35, makes it look even more of a timeless JDM car. As for looks and performance there’s tons of mods that are available. Finding aftermarket parts for this chassis is no problem.

Hey I have a 2015 - Q X 50 Stock with a muffler delete , will that engine mod work for my platform ? Also considering a intake because mine is duel would you have any recommendations or leave it stock ? Thanks great vid

Currently they do not make an intake plenum spacer for the Qx50, but I do have recommendations for CAI system off of z1 motor sports for the QX50. It’s a stage 2 system and it should bring your horsepower up. You can find it at z1motorsports.com. Also I recommended an exhaust system !

The 5/16" plenum spacer does make a big difference. I always wanted to do a muffler delete, and maybe go with a magnaflow resonator, but you have issues with any inspections ??

I agree ! You should definitely try a muffler delete out. I had one before I got my resonator deleted too and wish I could go back sometimes 😵💫.. but I plan to get an exhaust in the near future. As for inspection goes, passed emissions with muf/res delete, no codes, in and out in 5 min.

Oh yeah I heard a lot of people getting rasp when they remove the resonators, but heard a lot of good things about the magnaflow resonators with the muffler delete. Going to have to get the muffler delete done. How much did the exhaust shop charge you for muffler delete? Thanks for the inspection info I had my inspection done at some random gas station they really dont care if you go to the right place as long as it passes the state computer check. I got a 03 coupe 6 speed brembo package

@@NouriGains Anytime bro. But yeah the rasp and droning are bearable to the right person haha. Costs me around 80$ to have res removed. High flow cats to a straight aftermarket muffler sound decent of what I know of as well. That’s sick, 04 here ! Appreciate the sub ❤️

Had a muffler delete for a while when I first got the car. It’s legal, check engine light shouldn’t come on either. Don’t need mufflers to pass emissions if the rest of your exhaust is factory.

yo im bouta buy 05 g35 has 235k miles but im in need a car for timw being, the car has no problems besides me fixing the rear bumper i just wanna figure out if the car gonna shit out on me type shii any help would be fire bouta be my first car

If you’re getting a good deal I’d say go for it. Also depending on the maintenance record for the one you’re looking at. But judging off the miles and assuming that it’s running/driving it was probably maintained well.

@@LuminaryCo ya Lowkey not bad deal less than 2k, the owner says it maintained well has idler pulley delete says it’s very loud . I like how the g35 looks especially the one in this video and the car I’m looking at kinda looks at yours. I just wanna make sure the high mileage won’t do me wrong I’m new the whole car stuff , I understand hondas/acuras last forever is it same with these g35s if they are well maintenance?

Yess, as long as you do basic maintenance, and always stay on top of oil changes with the VQ, they’re known to go for many miles.

Spacer between upper and lower plenum that allows more air through intake it self. Good for about 8-12hp tuned probably.

G35’s are pretty reliable and can go past 200k+ miles easily under the right circumstances. If oil was meticulously maintained I’d say that mileage isn’t bad at all.

😂💀.. I just think of it like, get what you need once and take care of it, then you don’t have to buy it again. What helped me the best is setting aside a little fund and adding to it slowly for KZfaq content and car parts.
