I am so confused. I hear not to submerge all blooms in water (of course Hydrangeas are an exception). Also, is the sugar and bleach in addition to flower food, or in lieu of? Lastly, I seem to have bad luck with the wax sprays. I have tried cutting it with H2O at a 1:1 ratio as per Michael Gafney’s advice but still … nothing. I clean, cut and remove any potential uck from stems but it doesn’t seem to help while using waxed spray!! Perhaps am I over doing it??? Also, what about garden roses??? Spray wax on Garden roses? Is this okay?? Thanks so much!
