Sometimes it's just easier to give in and lay in bed and feel sorry for ourselves when we hurt a lot of the time but you are so motivational and I really appreciate you for that. Taylor, and Marlena, try Natural Calm, it's a magnesium supplement, at night before bed, I had them everyday, and within 1 month, they stopped and so did my cramps, and terrible birth like pains every month! It is amazing ❤️ I hope you try it and it helps you.. I like it as a cup of "tea " warm tiny cup 15 minutes before bed, it does help you sleep..and don't go heavy, because it will make you go... extra in the morning!

As someone who has a very VERY difficult time trying to find a fitting foundation... I really appreciate when you do these types of videos. I struggle so hard with finding foundations that will work with my skin AND the environment I am in (mostly always humid hot FL weather) Thank you so much for taking the time to explain in detail your favorites. This is truly helpful for me to come back and reference, as I usually do with your videos, when buying a new foundation. It's important for us to feel good in our skin and I believe you help us to do that 🙂

You might consider Alima Pure loose powder foundation (online). Really good, especially in hot weather. (I don't work for them.)

I’m in FL as well. I’m surprised Estée Lauder Double Wear isn’t in her top 5. That’s the best one I have found and I use a very small amount of Nars over it for high problem areas like redness on my cheeks.

I have fallen hard for the Dior Forever Matt Foundation, but it took some playing with to get there. Anyone planning on purchasing this should know that the shades run dark and that it oxidiized without a primer. I'm usually 1N in all Dior oundations, but 0.5N would have been better. The first time I used it on top of my usual skincare and SPF it went full on orange and a shade darker. Once I started using it with the Wet N Wild Impossible Primer (which is AMAZING btw) it was able to work its magic-smoothed my pores and texture, made my skin look healthy, and lasted all day, even with a mask. Thanks for your other recommendations! I need to try the MUF and Nars foundations next. I already love and own the others.

For anyone wondering about the purito bb cream, I bought it off of her recommendation and I am so glad I did I wore it all day with the pink covergirl powder it held up to me preforming (colorguard) so sweating, and to me crying, I didn't have any marks/ holes in my foundation and I was bawling. Definitely one of my faves

I totally agree with these foundations! I just wore the Purito BB cream yesterday and it wore well! I have combo skin that leans oily in warmer months. It did look dewy by the end of the night but not oily! I had to mixed two shades like you said. But it’s worth it! Much love Taylor! ❤

I’m forever thankful for the Shiseido recommendation dry mature 40+ year old skin and mom here and it was honestly a game changer! I feel so confident wearing this and I only need the tiniest tiniest bit. Try using such a small amount of anyone is struggling with this on mature skin. It’s still covers but looks like I’m not wearing anything!

these foundations are amazing, i fully agree with your picks. i wish you would swatch and compare the shades you have, though! when you did that in the past it was so helpful! both to those who are lighter than you, your skintone or a bit darker - seeing the swatches helped us deduce which shades would work for us or which wouldn't. thanks for the awesome content! :D

Love the Purito so much! Recently purchased and it’s basically all I use now. I’ve got good texture, but my skin is pretty red so this was the solution I had been looking for. And a little goes a long way. Great for anyone looking for a skin like finish. In daylight it doesn’t look like foundation all but it completely neutralizes the red. 10/10 will repurchase indefinitely for my oily face!

Haven’t been keeping up, but I so appreciate your foundation (and all other makeup) reviews!!! Been loving the Dior forever matte foundation too (been using since 2020), and heard it got reformulated recently and had bad reviews on Sephora. Panicked and came to check KZfaq reviews. So grateful to see you still love it even in the new formula!! My fav summer foundation for my dry combo skin in icky humid Houston lol. Intrigued by the shiseido radiant synchro foundation too, gonna look into it when weather cools down! I also didn’t like their matte version, but you pretty much sold me on the radiant version with your description!😆😊

I’ve worked in product development in the beauty industry for 10 years, and there is a valid reason as to why we add fragrance to certain products. It’s not that we WANT to (fragrance is expensive as all hell for us to add to ANY formula), it’s that we get WAY more complaints about the smell of the product if we don’t add fragrance. At this point, consumer studies tell us that more people want fragrance than no in their beauty products. It’s a ritual, aesthetic thing for most. Another scenario is having a bomb formula that’s perfect in every way except for an unpleasant scent. In that case, we foresee a ton of complaints about the smell and even worse, lots of returns from people who think the product has gone rancid because they expect it to smell better than it does, and we get ahead of those returns and complaints by covering or trying to neutralize the scent with added fragrance. It will take a minute for the industry to swing the other way so we can leave fragrance out of skincare, makeup, etc. entirely

All the girls were raving and so thankful she came and was giving them so many tips. She had asked about, why are they putting fragrances in makeup and skin Care. I was blown away. Read my comment above this one. I was like wow you're so right 👍🙌 Actually I reposted it because she commented and just to make sure I could reach her I tagged her in it but sometimes that doesn't always work so I commented on her comment. @@Peanut_taco_muffin 3 years ago in my Macy's, this woman was coming in to help a few of the makeup girls. She was just hanging around the counter they were having a break. One of the girls brought that up. And she said exactly what you said. And she said honestly if you were to smell this product without the scent in it. She said how many times did people complain about one of the cheapest makeups on the market but how much they loved it. Wet and wild. One of the girls said whoa are you comparing higher in makeup to that? She said as a base as a scent. She said, there are better and more thoughtful products and high-end products. But that is not to say that a low end product cannot outscale a higher-end product. But if I were to hand you a foundation that worked flawlessly and smelled like paint everyone would complain.. she said what we are learning is more natural sense or better than a synthetic scent. Because synthetic sense can trigger people. But honestly darling, you would be shocked and how much someone would prefer something that has a little sent to it rather than buckets of paint. We wound up hanging out for about an hour chit chatting. It was the end of the day, time to wrap up everything and all the girls were working hard. What a wonderful woman she was. Up front and honest. I said, right place right time. I've always wondered about that, never thought to really ask because nobody gives a really good answer and I understand. You're right. She said many girls love high end things, they're embarrassed to wear low end things and that's ridiculous.. she said you better guarantee many foundation companies raised an eyebrow when every single individual was talking about a foundation that was under $5. Which makes all of us sit around the round table and go okay what are we doing wrong? It can't smell like paint.. hahahahaha I said wow did you research that makeup? She raised her eyebrow up and said you better believe we did.

Always loving your foundation reviews!!! You are so helpful with ways to apply, etc.. Wondering if you have a top 5 powder foundations? I like to use them in a pinch! I love the one size powder foundation.. Just wondering what your favorites are!?

One thing I miss abt the PNW or the West Coast is all the coffee shops &drive thrus😭 Moved to TN last year &there’s only Starbucks &Dunkin, but it just isn’t the same🥺 I really need to try the Purito foundation! Been eyeing it &I have dry skin so hopefully it works🤞🏻 You look absolutely STUNNING!! The natural light really made your eyes look so bright🤩 Love you🖤

The Dior one is my holy grail. At least the prior formula. I bought the new formula but haven't tried it yet. The Forever HD is one I will definitely try soon. I have heard great things. Thanks for your video!

I just also want to say that you can tell you really care about the content you give us. So many other beauty channels aren’t like that. They just pop out content for views and could care less about the help they give viewers. You don’t do that, and I appreciate it.

Thank you! I needed this video. I am trying to figure out what makeup to pack for Alaska cruise for my 20 year anniversary. I would love to have a video like this for every category or a "best" makeup to take on vacation to look great everyday and that lasts all day. I hope this doesn't sound creepy, lol ... But with the color of your shirt and nails both making your eye color pop so much - I kept noticing myself getting distracted by how bright your eyes are in this video!! It's so cool how colors attract our eyes/brain to diff things. The one time I was distracted and got snapped out of it was when I heard you say 14-hour airport day ... My spoonie-brain went into shock. Idk how you do it, all the traveling and nomad life. But it's incredible to see via your vlogs, and gives so much inspiration. Hope you're having a great day! 🖤

I second the Nars matte and Shiseido. I got the Shiseido after seeing countless vids of Taylor looking flawless so just got it. Also, they are having a 20% off on their website right now.
