Being that the SM57 and SM58 are essentially the exact same capsule, with just the grille and location of capsule being different, I was pretty surprised at how much more top end the SM57 produced.

Deffo the SM7b made it for me, i absolutely loved the warm round tone overwall, both on vocals and on the acoustic guitar. After watching the 5 mics comparison, i would say with the budget for it, i would try to record an acoustic/ classical guitar with an SM7b + Audio Technica. I believe they would blend perfectly together. For vocals, again the SM7b and the SM57, quite enjoyed both aswell. Thank you for the amazing video and for partnering with the amazing Thomann. They are my go to shop for everything musical over this last 10 years or so.
