Lovely ideas. I'm just getting into macro photography and it can be daunting to find a subject to shoot. There's just so much! So it's nice to get ideas. I'm particularly intrigued by the marbles shots so I'll try my hand at that this afternoon. Thanks for the inspiration.

When I watched this, I was disappointed to not see ferrofluid as one of the Top 5...but then I clicked on last years Top 5 and THERE is was!! (has it really been over a year since you visited ferrofluid??) Great list(s) as usual!

Yes indeed, feels like just yesterday that I was shooting those subjects last year! I think it's been 8 months or so even from marble planets!

It's a Novoflex with a ball head attachment.

@@Adaptalux So then do Ball head's no matter the brand get that angle? I have two different tripods but none have a ball head and so I can not get that angle.
