Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

My top 5 would be: 5) Ragnarok Thor (w/ helmet) 4) Love and Thunder Thor 3) Endgame Thor (BAF) 2) Ravager Thor 1) Endgame Thor (Final Battle) My personal feelings on the Endgame figures is that while I greatly enjoyed the comedic segments with Bro Thor, I also liked the development he got for that movie wherein gaining weight and letting himself go didn't diminish him being a hero at all. So if I had to have only one Thor figure it'd be the Endgame final battle one.

My favorite is Endgame final battle Thor. It's very accurate to the movie and I loved the Big 3 fighting Thanos. But what also really kicks it up for me is how his hair is styled, how his beard is braided and his build (being chubby but still having a lot of muscle). That, to me, makes it feel more like actual Norse Mythology/Viking Thor and I really dig that

I put the infinity war thor figure as number 1 mainly because the scene where Thor arrives at Wakanda has a special place in my heart. I do like endgame tho but I prefer infinity war more. The infinity saga endgame bro thor figure is cool too but I put him at #2 simply because I’m not a big fan of fat Thor, I prefer a muscular Thor rather than a fat Thor.

There was something very nostalgic about seeing you handle the 2011 helmeted Thor again. It took me right back to that Phase 1 Avengers Hype that the MLC had back in those days. Those truly were exciting times. My top 5 are : 5 : Gladiator Thor 4 : 2011 Helmeted Thor 3 : First 10 years Thor 2 : 4pck AOU Thor 1 : 2012 THOR *this one wins because Thor is my favorite and this is the look he had in the very first movie. It reminds me of the amazing feeling of finally seeing him come to life for the first time and the excitement this figure brought me back in those days.

my favourite thor figure 8:06 it's based off Ultimate Thors suit from the Ultimate Universe. only if he came with stormbreaker I might pick up the infinity saga Thor he comes with 2 which is a win win. Great video dude!

Ok..just going to say my fave fig of all is the one I believe that best represents the movie & the comic material. I want Thor to look like the Thor I see / read in my comics. So the 10 Years Dark World Thor 2-pack with Lady Sif is the best. He has the long hair that Thor MUST have, he has the over knee boots that’s close to comic version & the chain mail arms simply look better than bare arms on the figure. The paint aps are better than AoU version too, if he had a cool helmet he’d be near perfect.

I like my thor to be traditional and definitive, dark world first 10 years fit the criteria. So that’s number 1. Number 2 would be infinity war with cape. 3 would be ragnarok helmeted Thor. Number 4 would be endgame Thor. Number 5 would be AOU Thor.

I do hope we get an updated version of either Thor 1/Avengers or Dark World/AoU figures. Aesthetically, those are my favorite “vanilla” Thor designs, but the figures associated with them are outdated. Maybe a Deluxe release with interchangeable arms for both bare and chain mail variants.

I agree. Un-helmeted Ragnarok Thor has the best short-haired likeness. He’s my personal top pick. Ravager Thor’s head on the gold/blue armor from Love & Thunder is my second place. The rest I’m indifferent on.

For me the best is Ravager Thor. It’s not the most iconic costume and he’ll probably only wear it a short time at the start of the movie, but I do love the nods to comic Thor/Thunderstrike. What puts it above all the others for me is the head sculpt, it’s leagues better than any other Chris Hemsworth likeness IMO, so much so that I’m considering buying a bunch more to head swap onto my other Thor’s. I hope we get a ML of the other costume from the trailers, the one with the fur shoulders. I'm sure it will be another short-lived look but I really like the that costume.

The thing that I did with my Thor because I hated the colors was literally just all gloss black the entire suit and then put the very few brush strokes of silver and brown back in and it is so much better. But straight up that endgame Thor is one of the best mcu figures of all time. Great video!

I missed on the first helmet Thor from 2011!! Still a gap in my collection, also don’t have the Thor 3 helmet again because I wanted handal’s sword, eye patch was a pass because the infinity war Thor was better, no bro Thor how ever I got the heads, and end game Thor is a must have!! And still need to pic the new ones beyond that I got all the other ones! My favorite is buck is the Thor 2/ age of ultron, the endgame and infinity Thor swapped their shoes they work better try it it totally works.

Out of all of these I had to put Ravenger Thor on display. I don’t know, I just love the thunder strike reference. Such a bad ass suit. Also yeah I did lose one of my swords from my Ragnarok figure 😂. Same thing with Loki’s helmet. Also I like swapping between his new armor and the ravenger Thor heads because he only wears the helmet for like two seconds in the film

Yeah I'm getting the Love and Thunder gold and blue Thor to replace My 2011 figure. Though I'm also getting the Jane Foster figure just so Thor can have his hammer again much like his recent comic stories. Then I'll get the Thunderstrike figure to give the mace to Jane.

I actually took the Thor: Ragnarok 2 pack head and switched it with the Cull Obsidian head to have definitive version of that Thor. The Viking Thor is so good that I actually cancelled my mafex pre order 🤷‍♂️

Do an MCU Iron Man video. And I think Final Battle Thor is the best overall head sculpt, but the balance point for the figure standing up sucks. And coliseum Thor with the added bits of Sakar armor is 2. But that Love & Thunder figure, it’s just beautiful paint app/color wise. Just wish it had a better Stormbreaker, shit is flimsy af.

I don't even have a standard Mjolnir.... I didn't get a Thor figure until way late into my Marvel Legends collecting and I never got a "worthy" Captain America... Actually, the first Thor I got was the MAFEX Infinity War and the second one I got was the Infinity Saga Endgame Thor... I have both of the new ones but... none of these have a Mjolnir! I have the 'reforged' Mjolnir from Might Thor but that's it. I've actually considered getting the First Ten Years Thor/Sif just for Mjolnir... 🙄 As cool as Bro Thor BAF is in design, I wasn't paying the upmarked prices for the Captain America and Iron Man figures from the wave (when I started collecting the wave had been out for a few months or maybe a year). My favourite Thor is the Ravager Thor (even though I initially complained about having two Thor figures in one wave with a boring BAF) head on the armored Love and Thunder Thor body. I like my MAFEX Infinity War Thor and I think it's the best one but, as usual with imports and ML, it comes in small compared to my display Captain America (from the Sam Wilson/Steve Rogers 2-Pack). I also went out of my way to make a deal on Mercari for Ragnarok Thor and Loki. I love those figures and that's one of my favourite MCU movies still so I paid a little more than retail for the duo (still, not bad for a movie that had been out for a few years).

Man I really think that the infinity war Thor (the one you put in 1st) might have the worst head sculpt on a marvel legends figure I’ve ever seen. I’ve thought that about that figure since the day it released and I don’t think we’ve had a worse head sculpt since then. No hate on you though just the figures head.

When marvel legends offer amazing headsculpt but poor paint job, everybody lose, especially thor. worst paint job ever. poor head scale, body type doesn't look right. it could've been so much better.
