Honestly, one of the things that impressed me most about him is his calm and sometimes unexpectedly fancy puck handling. Always making good decisions, faking out opponents with his footwork, and just really hard to push off the puck. Those things don't make it into highlight reels, but it's super impressive seeing those skills throughout the season.

Those are the things only real hockey fans notice. When i explain him to people, i try and explain to them how hard it is for a young(or any hockey player actually) to come in, and actually hold on to the puck until he finds an open man, insyead of just throwing the puck away when they see pressure coming. His confidence is incredible and just amazing to watch

I'm so stoked on Mo. I was hoping he'd come in, make the top 4 and maybe put up like 30 pts. Was completely blown away by how he came in and immediately took over #1 dman duties and looked like a veteran player. He is gonna be a stud for a long time, can't wait to see how much better he gets! LGRW!

Respectfully, Seider’s best moment wasn’t even on the list. Y’all missed the keep away on the penalty kill where he basically took on the flyers entire PP unit by himself for 30ish seconds

Flyers PP sucked this year and i know they tanked while this happend against the detroit because they had so much injuries last year and couldnt keep it up so they decided to tank.

I saw him play for Rögle in the Swedish elite league 2020/21, he was only 20 years old but he was awesome.

It's not just his size and his skill, it's his attitude and love of the game that's going to drive this kid to greatness. The body has to be willing but it only goes as far as the mind drives it. This kid was born to play the game.

Grinds my gears to have seen so many people preferring those other 2 guys for the Calder. Mo had comparable scoring numbers but he is a defenseman into the bargain, so that makes it not even close, IMHO.

I like that in his very first game, which was also against the reigning SC winners, that after a whistle, he skated over to Headman, and stole the puck from Victor. Sergachev then comes over to address 'Mo and ends up on his ass. 'Mo's way of showing that he is here, and he doesn't care who you are.

I love Mo but all the people praising Raymond I just dont see it and hope im really wrong about him.I do think Raymond will be a decent 30 goal scoer but dont see him being anymore than that.LGRW

30 goal scorers dont grow on trees. Raymond plays very smart, easily a 30 goal scorer who also racks up a ton of assists. He is also really good defensively. He'll potential be a 100 point man with the right linemates. His hockey IQ is off the charts the comparisons to marner are right about Raymond. Great skater and puck handler IQ miles above other players and tough to get off the puck for a player his size. 30 goals sounds right but he will consistently put up around 80-100 points with the right linemates no doubt

The one against The Flyers was weak for a "best of" video. That was just someone picking a corner on a PP with a screened goalie. Hart sees that, it's not going in from that far out.

yeah, they should have used the clip from that Flyers game where Mo was on defense, pushed the Flyers guy down with one arm, then he dekes a few players and makes a cross ice pass tape to tape, like whaaaat?? amazing!

Yeah they focused on goals, but he had some other really smart plays that were more exciting imo: great reverse hits, or that clip of him playing keep away on the PK. Love it

though maybe not a top 5 he does do a good job of watching bertuzzi's position, then sliding to his right so that bertuzzi is completely blocking hart's right side so he gets pulled hard to his left - then shoots top right corner. whether instinctual or well thought out in a split-second, it was a sharp play.

@@philleslie4344 He's for sure legit. I'm not hating on the guy. I'm just saying that I don't know how a simple PP goal, a goal that is scored by someone on basically every team, regularly, shouldn't be on a top play list. It shouldn't even be a top 5 goal unless it's his first goal or like, a series winning OT goal. Still, he's very good. It's rare to see that kind of size be able to move like he does.

Only reason he had such a good rookie season was because he was already used to playing against grown men from his time in Europe while guys like Makar, Fox and Hughes all played college and had to get used to it first. He's much closer to his ceiling than those other guys were
