I'm following your Amazon page. Appreciate you sharing what you use for knives and maintenance. I'm leaning. I've fished and hunted all my life. I used to think that as long as the knife does it's job it's ok. Now I see. I wish I had known more about knife steels. Dressing out an elk with the knife I used most of my hunting years would be dull quickly. This year, I will have a new knife better suited for the job.

I waited 6 months to be able to order my Skaha II back in like 2021... Was definitely worth the wait. Carried it in rotation for the last 2 and a half years and I still love it!. Got mine in bright orange.

I've been so critical of ZT in the last few years. With these recent releases though, they are going back on my good list. I hope they continue modernizing and maintaining a presence in the current market.

Ha! Both grandpas had boxes, and shelves, and racks, full of just about any tool you could think of. Most of the time, it was a pocket knife, that filled the role of many tools designed for the job, at hand. I never really thought of that, before. That's f"n funny!🤣And, probably, why I love a good, generic design of a simple, but useful, pocket knife. And, thank you, MC, for reminding me of something about those two REAL, good men, who were my positive male role models, growing up!

Just got the Skaha 2 and was absolutely blown away. The flipper action may be the best I've ever handled and the action is addictive. One of my favorite edc knives right now.

Do you know if the copper coating on the Reate is a copper PVD coating? I truly hope we start to see more PVD colors when there are so many great colors to choose from. So it gets a bit boring with: Here's another black or blackwashed PVD blade. Would love to see Cool Graphite, Graphite, Chrome, Gold, Rose Gold, Dark Copper, Light Bronze, Bronze, Dark Bronze, Blue black, Vivid Blue PVD coatings just to make blades a bit more interesting when they fit the design. And more Tungsten DLC coatings "W-DLC (a-C:H:W DLC)"

I love the TW Price rain. It reminds me of a Shirogorov stellar. The ZT0308 is cool, definitely reminds me of my old Zt0303 except the new one is way better. I like all 5 except maybe the reate but it's kinda cool with the new pivot lock.

Like your passion for pocket knives and the list is impressive. My heart had a cramp, though, when I saw a weird line on the background material almost in the middle top of the screen. Thought my phone had a cracked screen... 😅

The best part is the price, I assumed it was a $5-600 American made knife. But for $300 it looks like a great deal. Edit: I was looking at the dawn but I'm sure the price will be similar

SKAHA 2 is amazing!!!! I love mine!!! And come with left hand . I frequently switch my knives from side to side. Good knives have both. Don't purchase one that doesn't have the option because you never know.

These look nice. The lock release on the Vanguard Cheetah reminds me of the one on my titanium Pony Stout, but the Divo has better access.

The Skaha II is in my top 3 (and possibly my favorite) along with the Demko AD20.5 in 3V and the Kunwu Padre. I frickin LOVE the Skaha II 😝

It's crazy, but I have the similar North Arm but with black dune camo fat carbon, the exact same Reate PL-XT, and my TW Price Reyne will be shipping any day now with Timascus clip and spacer. The preorder is sold out, but I expect there will be extras dropping once the preorders ship in May.

If they would simply extend the ramp that the axis lock sits on, it would never come free. You'd have to completely move the axis lock before the blade would be free, but it would never fail.

My Copper PL-XT has developed super bad lock stick. I think it's gotten some dust or something in there. I'm gonna take it to work tonight and blow it out good. If that doesn't resolve it I'll figure something out, because the lock stick is so bad, it's hard to get the blade back in sometimes. Other times there's no stick at all.

That sounds like grit . The beauty of not using a pinned construction. Take it apart and clean . Not as scary as some may think .

The sebenza is definitely one of those knives more focused on being a quality tool than an enthusiast knife. Not for everyone, for sure.
