My rarest, and most amusing, was when I was that stereotypical chicken farmer. I hatched almost an inventory full of eggs into a 2 block deep 1*1 hole. Covered up, left for a while, went to kill grown up chickens. Fell in and was squished too much. Took a screenshot to prove it, though I had lolcats language on so it doesn't exactly say squished too much.

I relate to your overconfidence. I got soooo mad at myself today, was using new scaffolding block, didn't plan well and had to go around weird corner. A Skelly shot me, and since it was a terrible scaffolding job, and I had only a couple hearts left, I fell off and died. 3 mins later, I come back, sleep so it is day, and continue working on build. Same Skelly was bothering me, so I had low health. Didn't bother to fix scaffolding. I thought I had it figured out. Fell off and died, and since the bed I had stupidly slept in didn't actually have any blocks underneath it(building iron farm, running out of materials) I spawned a couple hundred blocks away at world spawn. Fixed scaffolding first thing, but lost nearly 20 levels that I rly needed and wasted a good 5 mins.

I've had quite a few interesting deaths. Such as "El was struck by lightning whilst running from enderman" and "El got pricked to death after they fell of a cliff" but I've never actually been blown up by a creeper.

Maddison and Jason,sometimes when you're mining underground,gravel can be unpredictable,it could be above a lava pit,it could be above a dungeon full of zombies,it could be above nothing and you'll just fall to your death,you could probably cause gravel to collapse right about you and suffocate you,who knows?!?

Related to falling I was running through a rooftop forest when I suddenly fell in a ravine. I thought I was going to die but luckily there was water. The thing in this is a double ravine. I checked how deep I was and I was at height 11.

My most embarassing death... after I was a noobie... on peaceful... because mobs freak me out... was trying to get off a mountain as fast as possible, being cool and landing in the water... NOT. At least I knew I could recover my items this time... because I didn't know they dropped when I first died... starved to be embarassingly correct. Back when the pickaxe was the one, only and ultimate tool and weapon... IN RELEASE 1.8.9!! Oh and never mind not knowing how to change hotbar slots. To my defense, I didn't have a scroll wheel at the time. When I played the demo version. I got the game on January 18th, 2016. But don't worry, I know a lot about it now.

I died while trying out riptide enchant the first time. Ran into a snowy chunk mid flight and fell to my doom. Now I never fly with riptide without slow falling.

I play on PS4 and I accidentally got rid of my survival world. I knew how to get it back as you only hade to go to your storage and re-upload it to the game. But when I went back to the world, It was in place of how it was when it was first generated😢☹️😞. I work on this world for 5 months or so and had well over a stack of diamonds

Just YESTERDAY, my friend and I were mining, and he fell into lava, and he lost everything, except for some wood. Luckily, he didn’t have anything too valuable on him, so we were able to replace everything.

Lava is exactly why I am so cautous when mineing. One time I found iron and I moved one block away in case and mined it and found lava pour on the next block. I moved out of the way in time and the anxiety went away Watching others die to lava is funny tho

One time I was walking home after traveling about 1,000 blocks away to find a jungle. I was loaded with tons of exotic jungle items as well as a fortune 3 pickaxe and a power 4 bow. I didn't have to worry about mobs or anything because I was loaded, but as I was walking a ravine generated in front of me. It was mostly hidden because it was almost entirely covered by grass, but I just so managed to fall through one of the open holes. That was the one time I genuinely screamed in terror on Minecraft.

I still remember my first Minecraft death. It was my first night, and I had no wool for a bed. I camped out the night and waited patiently inside my little wooden hut for sunrise. When day broke, I looked outside my little window. The zombies were burning, so I thought it was safe. Wrong. The second I opened the door, it walked in. What appeared to be a cactus with four legs and an ugly face jumped at me. Before I could react, the screen flashed red, and it said. "You died! Player was blown up by Creeper." To this day, I always build my houses with a back door in case things get hairy.
