Last night I tried Armani - Si which I discovered is very long lasting on me (still felt it in the morning, on the back of my head), today I sprayed Olympea over it and the combo is WOW :)

It is so fascinating how every fragrance smells just a tad different on everyone, depending on your body chemistry. I just did a mini fragrance haul for the Sephora sale and absolutely can’t wait to get my package. I did a lot of research before my purchases but fragrance is so hard to tell without actually testing it. For instance, I was employed in a department store and worked in cosmetics beside fragrance, every time someone sprayed Olympea I absolutely adored it, so bit the bullet and made the purchase. I loved it so much on everyone else, but when I tried it on myself it dried down almost pukey... not a good scent. I tried to make it work multiple times, and ultimately gave up and regifted to my step mom who adores it!!! Such a shame, glad it’s getting some enjoyment now though 😊

My personal favourites are: (1) CORIANDRE by Jean Couturier, (2) CABOCHARD by Cacheral, (3) MAJA by Myurgia, (4) CHOC de Caron, (5) FENDI ... a bit loud, indeed, but I'm told by many that it warms up sexily on my skin. :-). Whenever I dress up for some event, I wear CORIANDRE and I get stopped by many - even strangers who ask what that fragrance is - because it smells GORGEOUS on me.

I know everybody loves Light Blue. I wanted to love it, too. I got a huge bottle along with the lotion. Wore it for a couple of months and... It just doesn't vibe with my chemistry. When I smell it on my skin, it's a weird, cardboard-y smell. Other people don't smell it on me at all. I tried some Bond No. 9 samples and Greenwich Village radiates with my skin! Will be getting a bottle of that verrrrry soon! Also love Bond's Gold Coast, Chinatown and Liberty Island.

On another note - BODY by Burberry - you are so right! I've gotten the most compliments from this perfume - but I'm a red head with freckles and strawberry blond hair - smells totally different on my friends that have darker skin tones.
