My Top 5 Disappointing Game Sequels: Special Mentions to both Resident Evil 6 and Bioshock Infinite; one felt too splintered in terms of story and had problems with some of the QTEs not working; other just not as good as number 1 and just found ending bad. 5. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes - It was just TOO SHORT. Was not worth the $20 I paid for it. 4. God Of War 3 - After God of War 2, I was disappointed in this game and it was one of 2 reasons I bought a PS3 in the first place; the other being Metal Gear Solid 4. I really liked 2 so much that I have played it over 10 times but with 3 I've only played it once. Visually looks good and great story, but not enough action for me. 3. Resident Evil 3: Re-Make - Same with GoW3 and MGS 5; too short not enough action and puzzles and way too much missing in my opinion. 2. Parasite Eve: 3RD Birthday - Just did not like and played only once. 1. Dead Space 3 - Just hated this game. Don't need a sequel to this piece of crap (in my opinion) and would prefer a remake of 2 that takes the story into a different direction. I also highly doubt a sequel could be made due to the DLC confirming downer ending where they are attacked by the moon and the Earth is destroyed by multiple moons.

Top 5 Worst Sequels: 5. Fire Emblem 12: Heroes of Light and Shadow - This game isn't bad at all. The main challenge is actually finding a way to play it since it wasn't released outside of Japan, so you either had to play an English Patched version on an emulator or buy an English Patched Cartridge. I was able to buy a cartridge, but it only works on the DS original and the DS Lite, which was plenty annoying. Still, the game itself is alright and is a slight improvement on its predecessor. 4. Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon - When I originally finished the original Sun and Moon and heard about the sequel on the horizon, I hoped to get further clarification on the story. Unfortunately, this game was lowkey one of the most forgettable Pokemon games I've played yet. The story isn't as fleshed out, the Rainbow Rocket sections towards the end were a terrible means of nostalgia since they serve very little purpose, and the newer features don't stand out. Not necessarily a bad game, but one I don't think I'll be replaying anytime soon. 3. Mario Party 7 - Dunno if you can consider a Mario Party game a sequel since the stories surrounding each are vastly different. That being said, when I consider the absolute quantum leap Mario Party made with 4, 5, and 6, it made so little sense to me how they went from a 9/10 game to a 4/10 so quickly. The mechanics of 7 are not remarkable, a lot more games are luck based and not skill based, and the constant need for the bowser timer on every level should've been a specific map gimmick that could be switched on or off and not be permanent. Easily the worst GC Mario Party I've played. 2. Devil May Cry 2 - I have beef with this game but for the opposite reasons as everyone else. Could never get past the Corrupted Helicopter, and the fight is so drawn out each time that I could care less to keep going on. After the solid entry that was DMC 1, they fumbled the bag hard. 1. Tears of the Kingdom - This might be a really hot take considering this game was nominated GOTY. Seriously, though, hate this game. The most fun I have with this game is when my sister watches me play it. Hearing her laugh when I do stupid crap in this game actually makes the experience somewhat enjoyable. But the rest of the game is rubbish. Similar to what you said about KH3, I waited 5ish years for this game and it didn't from my experience live up to the hype. Also similar to KH3, if they keep going this open world route with Zelda, I may stop playing Zelda altogether, cause they spend so much time on quantity that their quality is lacking. By far the worst sequel I've played yet.
