While alive had no friends but ghosts that he were helping to go away (basicly meaning that every friend he had left him due to his doing) and as dead he seen and felt horror of the Ruination and what one goes by when corupted by mist (not mentioning Maiden who as phisical manifastation of Ruination non stop bulies him to suicide by allowing mist to corrupt his body and constant pain of black mist curse that never ends since water on his neck prefents from full corupiton)

Now on aatrox side lets see so he was a god like being he fought the void and all his comrades died to push it back and after it the small quantity left turned against eatchoter tempted by the voids voices they made their weird blood magic and went on conquest sprees on wich resulted in them getting sealed for thousands of years in their weapons of wich they ( were all alone) ( were constantly suffocating and in pain) thousands upon thousands of years of nothing but that drove them into such a state of madness they desperately cling onto anything that thouches them in order to ease that a little bit and to top it all off their forms became twisted and malformed to the point they need to drink from battle so they can enlarge their meat prison just a slightly bit more

Idk man at first I really thought Demacia is like one of those peaceful places in Runeterra, considering how organize and strict the laws are. However, the lores tells me otherwise.

Their entire ancestry passed down their fear of magic when they were trying to run away and find peace from the rune wars. Every child born in Demacia is taught the dangers of magic and how scary it is. When you are brought up like this, rational thoughts perish when faced with the subject of your fear. They simply need to all understand that not every magic user is a bad person. Examples like Lux, Garen Jarvan IV should be made public to help them with the transition as each of those 3 demonstrate some level of magic use.

Demacia is authoritarian (much like a dictatorship). It looks nice on the outside, and if you fit in with the ideals of the country then it's great. I always thought that this quote is the literal backstory of kindred and the wolf themselves.. they are the two halves of that man who split himself.

They are saying that Death was lonely since meeting him literally means dying , so people always avoided him. He eventually became so lonely he split himself in two : the wolf (instinct , heart , emotion) and the lamb (the mind , the logic), all that so he wouldn't be lonely any more

There is so much behind Yorick. His whole thing is how he hears and sees all that dies but feels like he let go cause it's HIS duty. He has a line with kindred where he says some thing like "I know you well, I see you always" and "May you take me soon". He fights the maiden of the mist and shephards every killed and lost soul. Kindred is lonely and has to claim all those lives. Yorick has to indefinitely here them cry afterwards

Why aatrox has sad backstory?

Pyke doesn't exactly show it, but he clearly is deranged by the fact that he's died and is now under full control of Nagakabouros. A better example would be Aatrox or Isolde, see any soul that has been used by the Mist of the ruination, they allsuffer and wished they had never cime back. Aatrox is just so torn by his identity, who he was and what he has become that when the aspect of Twilight sealee him and the other Fallen Ascended he grew a deep hatred for everything and wanted one thing: Death. And now, he's an edgy Monstrosity that sows Chaos all across Runeterra (I think) and spreads nothing but misery and death so that others can share his pain. His quotes are quite powerful in that aspect, he may sound sarcastic and like he's making fun of others, but that's only so he can one day find people that'd finally bring an end to his torment.

Sion is a perfect example of this

They got into some really nasty stuff for that though, the darkin are not innocent. Aatrox interests me in that if he wanted to be the noble warrior and do his job why did he corrupt himself? He doesn't sound like Rhaast who just wants violence for fun. The way he sounds doesn't lead me to believe he thought of mortals as his to do with as he pleased. Side note, the story of Darkin sounds a lot like what happened to Renekton don't it?

The other two have emotional aspects that require a bit of reading between the lines. They make me sad, so I wrote them here!

I'm someone who is very emotional, so those voice lines paint a sad picture, hence my posting 'em. The latter two quotes, to me, hint at his normal human side without being directly emotional like the first quote. So its more looking at what's behind the words than the words themselves. Whether he says it in a sad tone or during a performance, he clearly believes life has no meaning either way, which speaks for itself. Makes me wonder exactly what makes him feel that way, which gives me sad feelings. The third quote, he mentions the art being a compulsion. The very definition of the word is: "an irresistible urge to behave in a certain way, especially against one's conscious wishes". This implies at least a small part of him wishes to stop, which is both sad on its own + makes the first two quotes sadder too! I really enjoy thinking about the possibilities of what could be under the surface~ Sorry if this is too long-winded, haha. I just love Jhin very much!
