Im definitely biased, but i think Lucas is underrated. He's got a lot going on, and I feel like when someone who goes to events consistently figures out how to use those tools, he can definitely be high tier.

I think lucas deserves to be on this list, his kit is wildly underrated with good disjointed moves like f tilt for 2 framing and some kill confirms and fair which is insanely safe and strong to use even in neutral. He can also switch to being a zoning type of character to being a character that can combo u across the stage with double jump cancel zairs. Also not to mention his crazy down smash that is crazy good for 2 framing. In the end this is myyyyyy opinion and ur list was very good!

Funny how I used to main Cloud before, and now I main Meta knight because one day I asked you how hard is Meta Knight during one of your streams, and you said that he was easy to learn, so I took him and I'll say that he's very underrated imo, and I play a lot of mii sword for fun aswell. Awesome vid! In my opinion, Lucas is one of the most underrated characters. Just watch some Regalo or Nitox (or even Blucas) sets and you‘ll immediately see why, the things he can do with double jump cancel zair are crazy and his edgeguarding is broken. His movement with DJCZ is so wild that it sometimes literally feels like I‘m watching Melee lol

I think Mega Man is underrated. Part of that is because he doesn’t have the greatest results. While his player base isn’t the smallest, it’s not very big either. Most times, he feels non existent which I don’t think is entirely fair.

mewtwo main here, glad you give mewtwo some justice! The biggest problem in my opinion is that he doesn't really have any great cqc options to relieve pressure or to reset neutral, he has little to no safe oos options. He shares a similar weakness to zelda and sephiroth where he is very light and tall while at the same being a zoner/midrange character, which makes him incredibly inconsistent in a game where you can basically explode off of one interaction (albeit mewtwo can do the same). However mewtwo is still a very strong and fun character if you pair him up with a character that can cover his bad mus (which are for the most part rushdowns/brawlers) like gnw or cloud. He does decently against zoners and slower paced characters like samus, snake, pac man, kazuya, corrin, mega man, etc. Additionally, the recent implementation of footstool out of shield is phenomenal for him because he can now use footstool disable out of shield to punish unsafe aerials. In general mewtwo is pretty good and can work in this meta but it is very hard and i understand why people want easier, better substitutes like snake, samus or rob. But if you can make him work and and if you are consistent with him it will be one of the best feelings in the world.

I played Mii Swordi for quite a lot. I love that character so much. Especially playing him online because nobody has a single clue what to do against it xD

Great list Sillin! Loving the new content on this channel as well as Vault. IMO Lucas is also very underrated! He gets overshadowed by Ness JP players but is unique and has great tools and lots of SAUCE!

I do love playing Meta Knight. He can be so rewarding if you can actually nail a ladder combo. His grab game is decent and his down B is good for punishing special campers like Sora or Samus. Not to mention one of if not the best recovery in the game.

I like this list I would bundle Isabelle with Villager tho because the best Villager player (kept) also plays Isabelle and uses her a fair amount. They are also similar enough so you could learn both

a bunch of people have said lucas, which i absolutely agree with (especially as a lucas main.) but i think little mac is incredibly underrated. as long as you stay on stage, little mac is really broken. KO punch kills at 20%-25% on most characters, and it's pretty easy to stay away from the ledge (which is usually how little mac dies) although most people say little mac is really bad, i think he could easily make it up into c-tier

I've been a Mii Sword fighter main ever since the early days of ultimate. There's so much tech and I'm discovering new tech with the character till this day. I understand why people don't play this character but Mii Sword fighter is super fun to play and it has a lot of customization with the character skins! Just play the character guys

Ludwig (Bowser jr) is so underrated. I’m a Ludwig main and I promise he’s not in the end of D- The Mechakoopa can cancel charged stuff so attacks that always hit the weak spot like Bowser side special can easily be avoided by using a Mechakoopa. Pair that up with a busted recovery, a fast f smash, strong projectiles, speedy side B which can also be used to recover, broken arials and combine that with the fact that he can duck to make his most vulnerable hitbox almost gone, you got yourself a great character

I manage to win a tournament with Link, it was a school tournament, so it wasn't that difficult, but the grand finals was rough, it was a Shiek player that was really good at the game, he stated that he went to locals before, it was a best of 3 and I win the set 2-1, won the first one, lost the second one, and then won the third one, tbh I think Link can win tournaments if used correctly, I'm not saying he is top tier, but he defenetly is viable, high tier at least

Is still a very fun character! What i noticed is that you got to learn how to predict your appoinment very well! Though sometimes the fight feels unfair haha

Ice Climbers have everything you could want in a fighter except mobility. They do insane damage with easy combos and have great recovery and some of the best moves. They're also the hardest fighter to combo and they cheat by punishing you for trying to grab them, and desyncs make them even better. 51st place while Peach and Kazuya are so high up makes no sense. Just look them up on Ultimate Frame Data. Those aerials are ridiculous.

I became a MiiSF main towards the end of 2021 and I agree with what you pointed with him. I run 2323 and 2223 which are AMAZING at catching landings and using shuriken -> PT for kills anywhere. He has Dthrow UpAir for a kill confirm, but it's a DI check and has a set % range. SSD can cheese ppl when you aim it down, and I use Gale Stab against MUs where SF will get destroyed in disadv. Without it

I think sometimes with fighting games, unpopular characters can be erroneously believed to be bad. A low tier will never win a major... because if they did the next tier list would definitely make them not low tier anymore. I think the E/F tier characters in Smash Ultimate (most of them, anyway) are well-balanced enough that they could actually rise quite a bit if they had a really good dedicated player or bigger fanbase. Ultimate doesn't really have any characters that were intentionally designed to be awful or anything, like Melee Pichu or Dan from Street Fighter. I feel like these are really the only truly irredeemable character. A lot of characters just haven't been fully utilized to their potential (and some sadly probably never will be).

Mii Swordfighter doesn't even need Hero's Spin because every Hero's Spin kill confirm can be achieved with up air. I use Stone Scabbard since it allows you to go deep with down air cheese
