@@waves i brought all these plugins in 2017 then unfortunately I went to jail a few years lost my laptop.now in 2021 I have to pay again thats not fair waves help me out please!!!

Could potentially be either your version of Logic or the Version of the plugin. I had the same issue with the J37 Tape, after my OS update I updated to v12 on Waves and haven't had it since. PS: I also hate updates, but in this case it was helpful.

@@Wikdurand My issue was mostly with the Vocal Rider - on some sessions it's fine, and on one in particular it crashes the session if I try to close the window. I know I could pay for the update, but I don't need the plugin THAT bad. On the other hand, the Waves Aphex Vintage Exciter works great and has never caused me any issues and I use it on every vocal. If I were doing recording for a living I wouldn't mind paying for new versions to fix stuff, but I'm a budget-minded hobbyist, so I like the idea of a plugin just working and not having to worry about paying money again to make it work. Logic Pro spoils its users - we've gotten a whooooole lot of free updates.

I disagree. Creating your sound as an artist boosts productivity. The writing remains to be the most important part. But if i can take a kitten and make it sound like a lion its going to want to record more ya know

these are plug-ins, they can be loaded within DAW (Digital Audio Workstations). You do have to buy them.

if you dont know how they work, dont buy them first. Master your LPX effects firts.

The Abbey Road Road Mastering plugin is literally the best plugin I've used on my Stereo output. Also, imo makes the most audible difference when turned on and running through presets.

Hi Submarine is mainly for bass and sub frequencies whereas vitamin works across all bands ..I believe (?)

True, however, Logic Pro x may be missing tools that are available in other DAWs. For example, Logic Pro x does not have a stock dynamic EQ, and the stock MB compressor does not have external sidechain capabilities - so those tools as third party plugins are particularly useful for LPX users.
