My cream cheese frosting recipe is: 1/2 cup butter, 8 oz. Cream cheese, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 4 cups powdered sugar and 1 to 2 Tablespoons milk. Very good and less fat.

It is funny. Everyone says: "pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling". I don't think I have ever seen a recipe calling for the pie filling. But luckily I Denmark we only have the puree.

There is pumpkin pie filling-kind of a “convenience food. You don’t have to add spices. I used it once-it was on sale.

My family lives self sustainable. We steam fresh pumkins and can it. I call it puree as well. It's only pie filling when I add spices to it, and actually bake a pie for it..

Yep. With the pie filling, you just add eggs and milk. The spices are in there…along with an ungodly amount of sugar. I’ve never known anyone to use it, but people must since they still make it!

@@diazfamily2143 If you don’t mind me asking, do you pressure can it? And if so, how long do you process it for? A couple days ago I canned pumpkin pie filling, with the sugar and spices in it. I know it’s not recommended to do that, but I saw directions in an older canning book, so I thought it should be pretty safe, if pressure canned long enough.

After listening to the carmel pecan pumpkin pie recipe I rushed to the store to get the ingredients. I just got back from the store and I'm about to start. Wish me luck using walnuts instead of pecans because I didn't have enough money for those, but I already have walnuts. I love to bake and since my brother got me the 8qt duo crisp and air fryer instant pot, for Christmas, I've been learning how to cook. It's been great and I owe a lot of it to you all. Thank you!!!

I tried the sheet cake and cookies to take to a pass the dish meal. Both turned out great ...the cream cheese icing is the best I ever made. Can"t wait to try other pumpkin recipes. I will looking at all your recipes. Your presentation and directions so easy to follow.

Oh... I love cool whip! As a teen I would dip it out frozen and top it with ice cream toppings and eat. Sometimes just eat plain. Oh the memories 😊😉

Oh, and if you want to get all jazzy and fancy, crumble up the gingersnaps and layer the pumpkin dip and cookie crumbles, then top it off with whipped cream, a few crumbles, and a whole gingersnap cookie.

I had to make it a few wks ago..😍 I was craving it.. just wanted to give you a heads up.. when I went on to sign up for the wait list for your spices, there is a thing that says ck out other below while you wait... so I went to freezer meals, but there is a glitch that leads u to click funnels( so u learn all about click funnels lol) , so may wanna get that one fixed, so folks can go to the freezer recipes.. the instant pot one does wk though.😊 thx soo much for all u do.. gotta catch up on my podcast.. My Mom made this pumpkin, cool whip, pudding, dessert every year but put it into a glass casserole dish I make it every year now that my Mom has passed away. Always a hit. Super simple and quick to make.

How would you make your own spice cake mix? Especially when you can't find out in the store. My favorite spice cookie is Ivin's Famous Spiced Wafers and is only available during the fall. Serve Ivan's with a glass of cold milk to dip them in (they are very hard). Along with spice cookies, offer sliced apples and pears I would bring pumpkin dip to work parties. It was always a hit! These recipes look awesome!8

im a little confused on the turtle pumpkin pie, when i printed the recipe in the notes it says Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until fully incorporated. Press mixture into an 8 or 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-7 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes before adding pie filling (you can also cool in the fridge if needed). but yall didnt bake it at all

You might want to consider making stabilized whipped cream to mimic the structure of cool whip. It will surely be fine without that, but stabilized might be a bit better, texture-wise.
