I have a childhood friend that moved to Anderson, she keeps telling me how wonderful the area is. I know I'm jealous of all the fruit trees she has in her yard.

I was born and raised in Anderson. I now reside in Southwest Florida. Anderson will always have a special place in my heart and some days I wish I could move back. It’s such a nice little town

My son loves it, my bff lives in Charlotte, I get persuaded quite often...I honestly don't know where I belong but I did enjoy my trip to Anderson.

Yea I currently live here but i live in a lower class neighborhood and a lower middle class one since my parents are divorced. So I don’t really get to see the pretty part of it too often but even the non pretty parts are pretty tho so I guess I kinda do. But….. the damn downtown is so great, I love it, driving downtown is great, but it can be a little rough at night downtown, watch out for alley crackheads

My husband and I r currently debating moving here ,thanks for ur video 😊 wow hearing all this is exciting, we'd comn from Utah wich home prices are ridiculous our condo is up to 2oo+ k not even worth it in my opinion lol and ppl are gettin just about rude as can be ...not my idea of living happily ever after

I will be down there the week after Christmas, I am looking for a 10 acre lot outside of Anderson proper, around 60k or so, no HOA, septic and well preferred, any recommendations?

My girlfriend and I (we are from Baltimore) just spent a long weekend in Greenville as a possible retirement spot. Greenville was wonderful,...but,...filled with too many hipsters and millenials for us. Maybe we will check out Anderson.

Anderson sits around 30,000 people within the city and the county population is right around 200,000

School district 5 was rated the worst schools in the u.s. when I lived their

Anderson has alot of crime

Like most towns/cities, Anderson has a couple of areas that see higher crime rates. However, there are many areas in Anderson that do not suffer from high crime rates. And the county as a whole experiences relatively average crime statistics.

@@livinginsouthcarolina who is paying you to lie like this.i randomly seen this as a suggested video and laugh when I seen the title so I had to watch.Downtown is trash there is a few restaurants that are good but most things we have you can find other places aswell. 2 out of 5 of your reasons to move here is to be closer to Clemson or ATL. Our Crime rate is through the roof, shootings every day, Meth pandemic centeral, car thefts,robberies, homeless population skyrocketing, There is a whole tent city behind Walmart and Sam's club. The police here are a joke, corrupt as hell and are pretty worthless 9 times outta 10. Yes not all of Anderson is bad but this is not a town I would ever tell people to move to with a smile on my face.

He is full of shit, he never said anything about jobs. He should have mention the high crime rate over the past five years. Anderson use to be ok in the 70's to the late 80's, she was past up for Greenville when they build the BMW plant. I was born there, most of the people there now are from somewhere else. Drugs and gangs is hurting Anderson today. If you know about the the Earl Holmes off W Franklin St. from the 60's, then you know what I am speaking about.
