Poor soldiers died for nothing. Politicians told lies to them and they think they are protecting USA although 9/11 was Arabs work and they were based in Pakistan. Afghanistan was the worst Choice

There is a very good movie that is always forgotten in the lists of special forces and hostage rescue, being one of the 4 or 5 best movies of the class. It's called Executive Decision from 1996, and it has great actors like Kurt Russell, John Leguizamo and Oliver Platt.

Operation Gothic Serpent, Wow. That...brings back a lot for me. Proud to say I was in direct support of that mission. I wasn't boots on ground. I was in Germany doing Casualty Ops. What? 84 Charlie Mopic (Which is on my channel is one of the all time greats!) Green Berets, Force 10 from Navarone, Inglorius Bastards, Saving Private Ryan, The Terminal List, Zero Dark Thirty, Act of Valor, 13 Hours, 12 Strong...just to name a few.

All the movie's are produced with modern technologies except predator in 1987 and that's my all time favourite movie too.. as a kid 1987 wen I watched the movie for the first time I still have the same excitement when watching it again and again.. Oil

To be correct “Special Forces” IS the formal name for the Green Berets. ALL OTHERS are “Special Operations Forces” which includes the US Navy SEALS, US Army Rangers, US Air Force Para Rescue, and US Marine Corps Force Recon

In Lone Survivor, did no one think to take the villagers with them, even if only for a mile then let them go, everyone would have lived. I take nothing away from their heroism, they were the bravest.
