Eastern Ukraine is HIGHLY UNDER RATED, starting with Kharkiv (or Kharkov). From it's beautiful central parks to its grand city square, there is a lot to do in Ukraine's second largest city. In this video I will take you on a walking tour of the central part of town and show you some of the most popular attractions, as well as one that is a bit off the beaten path for the average tourist. I hope you will visit this beautiful city and I look forward to reading your comments if you have been there before! xx

Travel Medical Insurance I use:
Get 5% OFF Hey Mondo: heymondo.com/?Affi...
SafetyWing (best for younger travelers + digital nomads): safetywing.com?referenceID=alinamcleod&Ambassador
I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I am an affiliate for both companies, but I pay for my own policies.

Wrong Answer!!! Read Google and find out the answer. Russia bombed the shit out N. Syria including Aleppo. Most of the Deaths were due to Russian bombing Raids; thousands and thousands and thousands of Syrians were killed because of these bombing Raids. Tell me one thing , sir!!! Why isn’t Syrian today run by a Democratic SUNNI Government?🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

This is not a pro Nazi Ukrainian city . So does that comment still stand. The Ukrainian army and government is fully prepared to destroy these cities rather than have them become pro Russian. Just as the allies destroyed east Germany for no reason other than to turn it back to the stone age

What do you mean you stand with Ukraine? You sit on KZfaq commenting and posting Emoji flags like a fool. That is all. It's useless virtue signaling and in reality Ukraine doesn't stand a chance. Peace, unfortunately, will only come when they surrender. But morons keep encouraging civilians and incompetent troops to fight a losing battle when nobody is coming to save them. If you honestly think they stand a chance, go help them, fight the Russians. You'll die there. Before you say I'm wrong, wait a month or two, then comeback and let me know how things have gone for the Ukrainian people. Russia will replace their puppet government with another puppet government that is sympathetic Russia. And no amount of Emojis will change that. Shame on you fools.

@@davidsong5315 lol why you so triggered by me simply saying it’s a sad situation for those involved and that I hope for peace to return as quickly as possible? I’m not saying they will win, I’m not saying they should encourage average citizens to fight and escalate the situation. It’s just my opinion that the Russian invasion was unjustified and will destroy the lives of many innocent people and that’s why I say I stand with Ukraine. But I guess I’m not allowed to have an opinion on KZfaq? If you don’t want people to have opinions maybe you should move to Russia and work for Putin.

@@unitedtrash I'm not triggered. I am annoyed by your fakeness and virtue signaling as people die. You do not stand with Ukraine. Within a few seconds after the start of watching, I instinctively began to look for the logo of a major TV channel, you know 🧐 This episode is made so professionally. I especially like this cool transition - 0:27 👏🏻 Btw, it looks like your personal productivity record for the number of videos in one week 😁 Big thanks to You & both Mishas! One for the great work on the video, and the other for the beautiful cathedral ✨ P.S.: And yes, our Greek cousins, please don't worry. It's just five 🖐🏻 really 😅

Thanks for showing us around Kharkiv. It brings back many memories when I went on my big trip from Turkey, Ukraine and Russia just before the Eurofootball competition that you spoke of. I was truely impressed by Gorky park then & it seems it has been improved with new rides. Lots of good food & restaurants to be found there. Ukrainians seem to love Japanese and italian food especially. Really surprised to find the Panorama lounge there. Great for a meal & then a few drinks after listening to some live music when it transformed into a bar. Club Bolero had a live band as well and had great atmosphere with a large dance floor for people to dance the night away. Enjoy your time there Alina.

Thank you for another great vlog Alina. Always looking forward to the next one. Can never get enough. Certainly, Kharkiv is a under rated city. Hopefully, one day we will make it there. Also, I want to reach out to Misha for doing a great job with the editing. Be Well my friend. Your biggest fans, Harriet and Jim Richmond, Va.

WOW, with every video I see of this city, I am amazed beyond what I thought before. I had no idea that there are over 25 learning places not to mention the museums also. It has to be the cleanest city I have ever seen in photo's and also some other video's of cities of Ukraine. Believe it or not, I do know some guys there that are involved in business shares with me, so I will scold them for not ever telling me more. Thanks Alina, You have opened a new world here, and also Alona who has lived here all her life, this also is her "must go" place to see as soon as possible. Keep smiling and stay safe in this wonderful country, it is so much mis-represented in the world!! Cheers!

Awesome video. Kharkiv is also famous for one of the five erstwhile USSR tank design bureaus: the Kharkiv Morozov Design Bureau. Off course Ukraine also has Antonov aircraft design bureau as well as a specialised marine gas turbine design and production entities (Zorya Mashproekt)
