Let's talk about some of my favourite Urdu novels of all time. Ever since I could remember, I have loved reading Urdu books/novels. My earliest childhood memories are of going book shopping with my dad and buying bags full of Urdu books. Those were the days!
For today's video, I thought it would be a great idea to share my favourites with you. My favourites range from Umera Ahmed to Nemrah Ahmed and Ibn Safi.

If someone wants to read the novel like peer e kamil than read SULPHITE written by Noor Rajpoot. Its superb.

You should also read 'Mushaf' by Nimra Ahmed. It's super interesting.

I recommend shahab nama to you. It’s a masterpiece and allipur ka ailli hands down a gem of Urdu autobiography.

It's a collection of 5 separate stories viz. Roshan Heola, Zard Fitna, Rait ka Dewta, Saanpo ka maseeha and Thanda Jahanam. It's a Faridi-Hamid series

Hey ..the same goes with me...I also used to read only Urdu books until tenth standard...the only difference is that my parents never allowed me to read any of them and obviously I have read all of them without their knowledge 😄......then I thought to explore English world too....and I have to say it is vast...and amazing......!!!!

No it's very hard. Sulphite was good a try from the writer. It's lacks the brilliance which nemrah and umera Ahmed's novel has. It's okay as a inspired novel. But umera and nimra Ahmed novel creates a world. Don't mind everyone has different opinions. I was just sharing mine. But Umera aur nimra Ahmed ko vulna bohut muskil hae.

If you are into suspense/detective/crime solving type of novels then you should definitely check out the work of Ibne Safi

Allah I'm so in love with Urdu novels mera bass chaley toh unsey almirah bhardoo apni but I'm from India and sadly not every novel is available here

Currently I have jannat ke pattay, mus'haf and peer e kaamil and want to add namal and haalim to the collection as well please someone care to reply if they're worth the time

Girl, urdu books are ❤️, so I get what you're saying. I have Namal and honestly it is worth having. It's a beautifully knitted story. Written in the style of JKP, but more detailed and intense. Haalim, I personally failed to connect with. It's about time travelling and stuff. A lot of people love it, so you can give it a go and form your own opinion ☺️ P.S. Nemrah's latest novel, Maala's 1st part, has also recently been published in India 😃 Happy reading and exploring, Rida. Have a good one.
