No, as the very nature of them being far from stupid, actually showing quite complex creations forming overnight. And IF hoaxes it's never shown how they're done: which in most cases would require dozens of art/science-students just having nothing else to do, never getting caught or admitting no reason afterwards.

Most Crop Circles are unimpressive nothings. What gets me about this phenomenon are the intricate, amazing-looking ones that, if you asked me, couldn’t be made by humans in a week, let alone a night. My only doubt about the *really* impressive ones is: were they were genuinely made ‘overnight’. The one I always cite is the 2001 Milk Hill circle. Now, if you tell me that a bunch of, say, 25 people have a week to create this masterpiece (for that’s what it is), then I might believe you, but even then with difficulty, given it’s scale and precision. If you tell me that on a Monday this thing wasn’t there, and by a Tuesday morning it was … then, there is either an army of *very* skilful, speedy artists out there, or something very strange is going on. It all hinges on whether these things are created overnight, something which cannot be verified, alas.

@@donaldlasher2397 Hi my fellow Donald. Er, I have looked into this phenomenon a little more since I wrote this, and my current working conclusion (open to revision with new evidence coming in), is that *all* crop circles are human made. The thing that still puzzles me, though, is that to create them, there must be some kind of ‘eye in the sky’, for as I say above, the precision in some of them is astonishing. Milk Hill being a case in point.

Here in the UK, there's a man who claims to make them with a plank that he uses to beat down the crops. Okay, all fine and dandy. But what about the ones that have appeared on Army firing ranges - an Army helicopter crew reported that one had appeared in a field in bright sunlight, and it had not been there when they had flown over earlier in the day.The ones that appear in bogs, swamps, and up the side of inaccessible mountain areas? Or in fresh snow, with no disturbance other than the rings visible? (and this also includes no visible helicopter prop wash). The ones that appear in deserts, hundreds, maybe thousands of miles from anywhere? In dense jungle, or forest, as well? This intrigues me. It obviously isn't all a couple of old blokes with a plank. Going back to prohibited areas, they have even been reported appearing on battlefields. Would you stand there for hours kicking down undergrowth with a plank, whilst nearby two lots of people are knocking seven shades of shit out of each other? Me neither.
@stuartanthony6409
@stuartanthony6409 2 жыл бұрын
Crop circles appear in crops - most of the phenomena you are referring to are not in crops, they are something else. Show me the one that was in a firing range - not heard of that one. Again, its not on a crop - Doug and Dave specifically stuck to crops in famers fields. And they didn't just kick down the crop, it was a well honed process after some practice and consideration of how it would work. Indeed, the method is still used today by all crop artists who make the most complex crop are imaginable.

These are not facts but suppositions. In fact, these are closer to being factoids. First year undergraduates in physics, more than likely, understand that using portable magnetrons in the field are quite effective at heating and bending stalks at the nodes. Anyone can obtain a magnetron from an old microwave oven. This ain't rocket science, folks.

because the easiest pattern to make is a circle, with a rope attached to the middle of it. squares and rectangles require a little more thinking, and those able to do it usually occupy themselves with other things than stomping around in fields in the middle of the night with a plank attached to a rope. just saying.

an acre is literally squared anyway in so much it has four sides - it equals approximately 1/2.54 hectares (ha - 100m x 100m = 1 ha) - so its somewhat larger than you think. You could get 7 large properties on it, or 20 odd medium size properties, or apparently up to 70 small terraced properties on it - thats according to the land registry anyway.

@@Potrimpo I really don't know where this idea of broken stems comes from - you need to go to a field with a cereal crop in it (wheat of barley that is) and try to actually break the stems - you'll find out how difficult that actually is. I suspect its more for crops such as corn (maize) in the USA which I suppose might break - however, over 80% of all circles appear in England, and we don't have much maize over here ... so this is a misconception, However, we do have oilseed rape, and that has some crop circles appearing in it - those stems aren't broken either by stomping around in them. I should know - I was a crop scientist and I often walked into oilseed rape fields and squashed the plants down in the process of my job - they weren't really damaged by the experience and soon picked themselves up if they were.

I have it on good authority that stealth helicopters are used at night to hover high above a field silently and proceed to beam the desired pattern down with an as of yet secret invisible laser beam generator, similar to a directional microwave gun driven by 3D printer-type software, with a wavelength tuned to soften the stalk nodes, silently and relatively quickly. They have figured out how to "push" a relatively light wheat stalk over with light or electromagnetic radiation, in a weakly understood phenomena of Einstein's known as relativistic mass or a type of momentum. This explains circles made after 1980 bc, as computing progressed, so has Crop Circle complexity and preciseness. I welcome refutes.
@stuartanthony6409
@stuartanthony6409 2 жыл бұрын
Why would they waste their time doing that? Indeed most crop circles were made after 1980, though some were made before, but I'm pretty sure the governments wouldn't waste their military budget on making circles in crops.

The source of the heat to bend plants without breaking? Microwaves. You can also easily bend the stem of a plant without using heat. Within the plant's walls is a cellular structure called collenchyma, which is very elastic and grows like the strings in celery. You can snap a stalk of celery quickly, but you can also bend slowly bend it without it snapping. About 8 years ago, some scientists came up with a theory that lasers, GPS navigation, and microwaves have been used in the creation of some crop circles. "Prof Taylor, director of the Materials Science Institute at the University of Oregon, said the findings suggest that crop circle artists may be using magnetrons, found in microwave ovens, or similar technology to complete their detailed patterns in the space of a few hours." That and some fantastic geometry. DUH! The radiation may also linger after the fact so as to be detected with sensitive electronic devices. Of course, not everybody uses the same techniques to create their crop circle designs. Some prefer the old fashioned way of wearing snowshoes or, "Traditionally, planks of wood known as 'stompers' and lengths of rope have been used to make accurate patterns in fields, with designers even using barstools to hop from one flattened section to another." While it is fanciful to believe in unseen natural forces, extraterrestrials, and even orbs of light that create crop circles they all have one thing in common: they are all beautiful hoaxes. I could be wrong, so what do you think?
@AD-wg8ik
@AD-wg8ik 3 жыл бұрын
Okay what are the facts? Nobody has ever recorded a crop circle being formed. They are almost perfect geometry and reflect ancient sacred geometry. They appear suddenly/overnight. If you believe a human or group of humans could make perfectly flawless structures undetected overnight your are hopeless.

@stuartanthony6409
@stuartanthony6409 2 жыл бұрын
Magnetic fields - cereologist Colin Andrews and Pat Delgado in 1982 I think. They have come away from that theory now for obvious reasons. Heated stems ... not quite, but this was WC Levengood who found some charring on plants inside and outside a crop circle in Conrwall England in 1991. The only way he could replicate the effects was using a microwave oven. He suggested in the discussion of his 1992 paper that the effects may have been due to some "transient heat energy", but clearly the plant dies with microwaves so he was reaching a bit there and indeed it was only in the discussion where he could do that I suppose. The effect was more likely mundane, like the plants being underneath a stationary tractor being burnt by the exhaust while he tried to fix something. That's a down to Earth explanation anyway. But his colleagues and everyone who stands to benefit from all this made it a thing and now its endemic in every crop circle discussion there is.

I find it hard to believe that some humans made that "mothership" crop circle last August in the middle of the night on a level surface with perfect symmetry. The details on some of these crop circles is mind boggling and to think that they are mostly hoaxes is naivety.
@stuartanthony6409
@stuartanthony6409 2 жыл бұрын
Well, it seems that one was indeed ne that all cereologists agree was made by humans - its imagery is very close to the "Mothership Glass" company logo to have been made by aliens --- and here lies the problem. Humans have been making these crop circles for over 40 years now, so they have become very adept and doing them. If there is proof of aliens making them, or magnetic forces, the military, etc, etc then we literally don't have it ..... but what we do have is proof that many circles are made by humans for whatever reason, and they are really complex too. Therefore, on balance, and because we have no proof that aliens exist yet alone make crop circles, logically the circle makers are probably the lesser two legged homo sapiens.

Actually, most crop circles are NOT made by humans and are unexplained. Even the farmers who claimed accountability, couldn't reconstruct what was done. This video makes it seem like "oh, it's just humans messing around" yet, most of these designs have to be well thought out and planned from some sort of Arial.

there is nothing natural about crop circles yes some people have hopes them but their intricate designs and the way they are made when none of the crops are actually broken is very strange there is nothing on Earth I can actually do that plus it is really hard for a hoaxer to create such an intricate design from the ground because crop circles are typically seen in their entirety from above and the sky so it can be hard to tell what exactly you're doing if you can't see what you're making I will have these are far from hoaxes it is a sign that we are not alone in the universe and a lot of people just don't want to believe that or they just laugh it off but I think things like this are too strange to just explain away with some sort of bullcrap we are not alone in the universe and these crop circles are trying to tell us that

We were never alone I tend to believe that but communicating with us by making crop circles seems to be a bit inconvenient. Since aliens are so advanced why not just try and talk to us? Or commune in another way? And I don't think any of these would be a hidden message behind. Intelligent species interacts with other to remain constant relationship. Since the circles are made near a certain place, I reckon there's something to do with them. They never mind us that much, maybe they even know us well. They hid from our sights for some reason but their evidence of existence is the one thing they can't hide. Maybe they are like us, afraid to be contaminated or cause contamination as our species are delicate, they wouldn't want to cause any mass extinction. The crop circles are more of like their symbol of existence instead of a message trying to be unveiled. But many years to come, humans are yet to accomplish much. One day we will know. One day.

im sure that some people can create all of these overnight... smh and how would the radiation from the crops explain this
@stuartanthony6409
@stuartanthony6409 2 жыл бұрын
There is no radiation from the crops - they are incorrect as to the reason why that is postulated in the first place - read WC Levengood's paper 1991 - he could only replicate one of the effects (burn marks on the leaves in ONE crop circle) by microwaving a winter wheat plant - of course the process killed the plant, but it did burn it to death and had similar burns as the ones he had seen. He then postulated that some kind of microwave type energy was used to cause the crop to bend and on occasion that left tell tale marks in the form of burns to the leaves. Of course, there are other explanations such as possible scalding from the tractor's manifold during a stoppage in the field for whatever reason, etc - but those are not really exciting are they?

That was a hypothesis put forward by cereologist Colin Andrews in the mid 80's, but he thought better of it ad dropped the idea in the late 80's. That concept is a non starter since it would create circles literally everywhere and not just in farmers fields
