i am proud to inform you all that it IS in fact possible to complete the original podrace level in one go. I have honed my skills for year, i'm partially blind now and both my thumbs had to be amputated, but i feel no regret!

The original versions of the Pod Race and the Cavalry Battle deserve a special place in Hell

I would LOVE a multi-stage Grevious chase. Destroy his magnaguards, cut off three of his hands, chase his wheelbike on the lizard, and finally expose his heart and shoot it. I'm most excited to explore Utapau, it's my favorite planet from the prequels.

Am I the only one who hated Gunship Calvary? It was basically the Battle of Hoth with less margin for error. It was even worse in the original LEGO Star Wars, because it AUTOSCROLLED, making it 1000% more difficult to collect the minikits amongst all the traps.

I don't know why but I really loved the og pod racing back in the day, loved playing it with my brother and remember it being a lot of fun, guess thats just me

After Skywalker saga I would really appreciate getting a new clone wars game covering all 7 seasons. This doesn't even need to be stupidly open world and with the stupid long levels and voice acting and the side missions involving characters nobody cares about

You thought the original Mos Espa Pod Race was awful, the original Gunship Cavalry is even worse because not only does the screen autoscroll, if you die in a certain part of the level, you go all the way back to the beginning!

I have an honorable mention of the original Episode 2 Chapter 5 (I forgot the name) it’s an auto scroller and has a time limit on the last part

The podrace level as the worst? And battle on hoth? Gunship cavalry is WAY worse than battle on hoth. Also the podrace level was pretty fun (for me anyway). Honestly the level I hated the most as a kid was Darth Vader (Because of the first part where the camera is facing you.) Now since i'm older, I'd say my least favorite level was the episode 4 mission where you need to go through tatooine, into the sandcrawler, and all the way to Old Ben's house. That level was just way too long, and was the reason I never 100% the complete saga.

Gunship Cavalry co-op killed so many controllers back in the day.

They should definitely take out the Zam Weasel speeder level and replace it with a level where Anakin goes back to tattooing and tries to find his mom and kills all the Tuscan raiders. It’s a much more important scene in the movie anyway

In my opinion, the Gunship Cavalry level from LSW1 would be a close second on the list because, like the podrace level in that game, you take damage whenever you touch the walls of the level. Also, the enemies are frustrating to kill as the gunship can only aim in one direction. Also, once you die, you have to redo the section of the level.

The oirginal pod race is actually not as frustrating if you keep trying. Only a little practice, even with that time limit. The original Gunship Calvary though, is atrocious with its gameplay and time limit at the end.

I'd say the Geonosis Gunship level from The complete saga is the worst level. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but the autoscrolling Gunship level from the original 2005 game was much better.

TBH The Complete Saga version of the Podrace is one of my favorite levels ever. It's not exactly difficult, but it's fun, and I can literally do it for hours on end and get about 61,000 studs each time I do it. Basically, I use that level to grind for studs so that I can buy shit.

omg i remember in like 2011 playing the original pod race level on my ps2. The time limit was annoying, but the worst thing for me on that level was on the second lap when the giant rock colapses and i could never get past it 😭😂

I have to disagree. Difficulty doesn't always mean bad. The podrace level was a fun challenge with a unique style of gameplay. The time limit was harsh, but it made the level more realistic and fun because of the stress on Anakin to win himself out of slavery.

I think gunship Cavalry from lego star wars 1 on ps2 should have been #1, the hoth mission with the bombs can stay as #2, the pod race mission should be #3 completely taking out that lego force awakens mission (bc you said it yourself one movie doesn't have enough action for all levels of the game), and #s 4 and 5 can stay the same

Hoth Battle is one of my favorite levels in the Complete Saga. Although TBH none of the vehicle levels were bad (for me, atleast) with the exception of the original Gunship Cavalry. The one level I disliked in this game is Retake Theed Palace.

5. Retake Theed: drags on for way too long and the challenge level is something else 4. Bounty Hunter Pursuit: just boring and frustrating 3. Flight of the Falcon: Bounty Hunter Pursuit’s problem worsened. 2. Defense of Kashyyyk: unpopular opinion, this level is so horrible because of the infinite enemies and nearly impossible True Jedi meter, making this level undeniably frustrating. 1. Gunship Calvary (Original): do I even need and explanation? Low health, pod race checkpoint system, etc. Kinda surprised that you would chose General Grievous because of it being short when Battle of Coruscant is a level.

It's not impossible to beat the OG Pod Racing in one go, but it's incredibly hard. I remember trying to do it in the super story mode once I'd beaten the game and the only part that kept tripping me up was that level. Took me about 6-7 hours of repeating it over and over again before I got it
