Salt lake stadium, india, capacity was more then 130k but for the renovation it has been reduced to 85k And in 2017 it was further reduced to 70k for the FIFA’s regulations

MHP Arena or former Neckastadion at Stuttgart is also missing. It has a capacity of 60,441. The highest number of visitors has been 120,000! at the first international friendly after WWII between Germany and Swiss. As a kid i have been there when around 72,000 watched the game between VfB Stuttgart and 1860 (not Bayern!) Munich which were German Champions then.

MCG in Melbourne Australia with a capacity of over 100,000 says hi. Our national football (soccer) team has played there as has Man U, Real Madrid, Man City etc. A game between Real Madrid and Man City in 2015 drew a crowd of 99,382.

Siendo peruano me enorgullece q salga el monumental de ate 🇵🇪, pero no han llegado muchas veces a su capacidas total, q yo recuerde la ultima vez fue en la final de la libertadores 2019. Me parece q por temas de exceso de asistencia por algunos accidentes llega a llenarse 50 000 o 60 000. De todas formas sigue siendo una de las casas de la seleccion 💪

When I was a child, my grandfather and me went to see Johan Cruyff to Camp Nou. I didn't know it was the second, but I don't care. To me the best was watching good players like Cruyff, Schuster, Neeskens...(In situ I could not see Messi). But the most important thing is not the stadium but the football itself..

Antigamente o Maracanã (Brasil) comportava mais de 150 mil pessoas. O Mineirão que não aparece na lista também cabiam mais de 100 mil pessoas. A capacidade dos estádios no Brasil foi reduzida drasticamente. Flamengo se um dia fizer o seu estádio próprio, pode pensar em uma capacidade de 120 mil pessoas que vai lotar todo jogo.

Because those stadiums are used by football teams, I mean, the Sounders, NE Revolution or Atlanta United since they were born as such, those were and still are their stadiums. Others, although are also used for football, it is usually only for specific situations (like friendly matches, exhibition matches, and so on), no team officially has them as THEIR stadium.

And so what? Lumen Field in Seattle was designed for both American football and football/soccer in mind. Football engineering consultants were brought from Europe to help design the stadium before it was built. It was in the construction bond bi-lines that the new stadium were to be dual use with having soccer to garner an MLS expansion team which was granted 7 years after the stadium was built in 2002. Other NFL stadiums are built to FIFA standards notably the field size just in case for a future World Cup. So stop with your snobbish, elitist, and biased attitude against American stadiums.
