Diggs is a 1 year rental, if he doesn’t get a deal from Houston and goes to a worse team I’ll definitely have to reconsider my take but I will be buying Nico right now at his current price

I can understand where you are coming from and I respect the take. However, if we look at Pittman & DK last year, I feel like there’s valid reasons for that gap. PPG: Pittman: 14th DK: 22nd Targets: Pittman: 156 (9th) DK: 119 (22nd) I’m also much more concerned about JSN stealing targets in the long run than I am AD. Can absolutely respect the take tho!

​@DynastyLandFootball I would think that DK and JSN are going to canabalize Locketts targets together rather then from each other and that Locket and JSN resemble each other more than DK. DK is pretty efficient with his targets anyway. Also despite the ppg rankings difference we are only talking about a 1.5 point ppg difference. Compare that to the difference between Pittman and the top 5 wrs over 5 points a game. I just don't feel like the difference is that pronounced and in half ppr it's almost none. DK is a td guy, not ppr guy but he has shown us he can get into wr 1 territory. Can he do it again? It's in the range of outcomes. I just don't think the gap is that wide.

Rome is much closer to Marv or Justin Jefferson than BTJ.. Matt Harmon’s reception perception shows why Rome is so much more nuanced as a route runner than BTJ., and it’s not even close. Rome is one of the best collegiate route runners of all time.

Your comment was "At the end of the day, I can't paint a picture in which Adonai Mitchell breaks out this year" Many could say the same of JSN in 2023, or Rome Odunze in 2024. Not being able to see success in a player's rookie season does not make a player dead in dynasty. Things can change. Dynasty is not just about year 1. I am not disagreeing that AD got a bad landing spot, so did Pearsall and Odunze, in crowded WR rooms.

I can respect the take! I trust Kyle Shanahan to do more with less than most coaches. For example: Aiyuk only had just 105 targets last year, most players wouldn’t sniff the top 15 on that kind of opportunities. Aiyuk still finished Top 15. Aiyuk was 32nd in targets amongst WRs for reference. Ultimately, I believe the 49ers will move 1 or Aiyuk or Deebo. Whereas in Indy, I don’t see Pittman going anywhere and I don’t believe ARich can be that efficient compared to Purdy in SF. Hopefully that makes sense 🙏🏼

I don't think I agree with him getting a contract, at least not with KC. They have been bargain hunting ever since they let go of Tyreek Hill. They also just spent a R1 pick on Worthy. I don't believe Hollywood is anything more than a 1 year deal in KC. Maybe he goes somewhere else and it's a good landing spot but I don't see it the same way. Thanks for watching :)

@@DynastyLandFootball Trying to remember the last time the Chiefs have signed a WR to anything more than a "prove it" deal lol So, probably not. I do think, however, this will be Hollywood's flagship season in terms of PPG and finish. If nothing else, I think he's a fantastic investment if you bought him prior to the Rice craziness and I think you'll profit if you decide to pivot off him. Likely paid a mid-late 2nd to acquire and my bet is you can flip for a contending 1st by playoffs.

I don’t understand, I love ARich for fantasy. Have never doubted his ability to score fantasy points. I do have questions about his ability to support multiple fantasy WRs. If that makes me a hater, so be it 👍🏼

I agree w/ that but also have to take in account patty mahomes on average for 3 seasons from 2020-2022 averages 4943 yards and 39 touchdowns. In 2023 he had 4183 yards 27 touchdowns. Same Andy Reid system, just shitty wide receivers. Those numbers go back up to the three year average of the prior years and everybody eats at the all you can eat buffet, no diet, you agree?

Another way I'd put it is DK is on the lower end on the range of outcomes of what you're hoping these rookie WRs can do. He's firmly in the tier of WRs that I wouldn't want to re-roll except for the elite talents. It's fun to chase upside but DK is an established asset with a safe floor and potential to punch up any given week. These rookies have done nothing to prove they aren't busts, and I think that isn't considered enough. Odds are very high that this time next year there will be buyer's remorse on a few of these rookie WRs ranked ahead of DK and other established safe WRs. If I had the 1.09 and someone wanted to ship me DK to roll the dice I'd gladly to the swap, but the problem is I already have DK in a lot of leagues so can't take advantage of any bearishness.

I can respect the take but I have a couple issues with DK. - inconsistency: I had DK is a lot of dynasty leagues last year, was probably happy with him 3 weeks out of the season. The rest was extremely underwhelming. - I don’t think he’s the most talented WR on his own team. I don’t envision the offense running thru him for the next 4-5 years. I do think he’s the WR1 right now but I see JSN taking that personally. Can respect the take! But ultimately DK is just the safe floor play over those other names for me 😅

Tough offseason for the lad

Finished as a Top 15 WR in back to back years. This year finished WR14 despite having just 104 targets, 32nd amongst WRs in targets. Will either be traded to be a WR1 at some point, will leave in FA to be a WR1 or the team will trade Deebo. I’m not sure what else he has to do to get respect tbh 🤷🏼‍♂️

If you’d like to use stats as your sole argument for ranking dynasty WRs, which we would not suggest, then you would be disappointed to know that AJB in the past 2 years has finished: 2022: WR8 2023: WR8 in fantasy PPG.

Couldn’t agree more. This makes him a buy imo. If you can “tier down” from one of those top guys to AmonRa and get some extra stuff it seems like a no brainer. AmonRa gets the slot discount which just doesn’t make sense, his production speaks for itself
